Can the egg whites method be used on wood as well? I'm a bow maker and I usually use hide glue but this seems alot easier

I'm interested in painting a mural on a bison hide to look like the cave paintings in Lascaux France. No clue how they were originally done on the cave walls 60,000 years ago. I've thought about airbrushing but I don't want to invest in something I won't use again. Any hints are appreciated.

How do you use the pigment on a rawhide drum head?

Hello, Thanks for watching. If the drum is already made, use a damp towel and lay it over the drum to soften the rawhide. Then process the pigment so add water or glue. Once the head is a bit soften paint your design and let dry.
