Hi C! Deborah uses a wide variety of acrylic paints, including textile paints, such as FolkArt Fabric Paints, which can be washed.

Exactly. But... I usually don't wash my quilts. I made smallish art quilt collages to hang on the wall. There are lots of examples and more painting techniques in my book!
