Painting Operation: Blackwind Part 1 | Haqislam | Infinity Corvus Belli

Hey guys!
This video is part one of me painting Operation Blackwind from Corvus Belli's skirmish game Infinity , starting with the Haqqislam part of the box. I painted the 7 models in roughly 7 hours to a parade ready standard and following the steps in the video you can do the same :) If you found this painting guide useful and want me to paint the other, Aleph, side of the box as well, let me know in the comments below.

Great video. I recently got this starter and have been working slowly on the Aleph side. It has been taking me 3-4 hours per model. I can't believe you did this standard for 7 models in 7 hours. I need to give it a shot.

I am looking forward to painting the Aleph side as well. I'll have to figure out an easy and fast way to paint that white armor if I want to match the 7 hours with them as well 🤔 as for how I did the 7 hours with these dudes: I paint a lot of models these days and most of them to a higher standard than these. That gives me a lot of practice and brush control that helps a lot with the speed. The funny thing is that becoming better at more advanced techniques makes you paint simple things faster 😄

@@ph3lansminiatures Thanks for the advice. I will give it a go along with trying this method out. For my Aleph, I used Angel Giraldez colors that I found on his blog. Vallejo Deck Tan is the base which covers a zenithal pretty well followed by Vallejo Ivory and White for higlights. For the shades, Vallejo German Camo Beige first and then darker areas using that plus Violet. However you decided to proceed, good luck with your Aleph!

Very nice. I tend to go for a much lighter look, more beige sand/ivory than red/brown sand like you do, but I still got a lot out of this to use on my own models. The cloak detail painting method was particularly enlightening and practical!

Love the trick using flow improver with the white and then the color for a sculpted pattern. I will try it next time.
