The Eastwood encapsulator looks really good. I was thinking of using that as a base coat on the under side of the tub before under coating. This project is turning out awesome and I’m excited to see it together. It’s also giving me motivation for mine too, as of now I’ll be following in your footsteps with the 4 link rear and front leafs haha

It has been a great product for us! We thought about 3 linking the front but everyone wanted us to keep it simple with leaf spring in the front and I like that idea haha. It will be fun to push the limits of the leaf spring setup. 4 link in the rear is a no brainer.

The build looks good. Can't go wrong with black paint, it makes other items stand out in contrasting colors. Looking forward to future videos.👍🤟

I have used Eastwood products for the last few years on several products. Great stuff! No worries on the rough look, it will get beat up anyway when you use the Jeep. I’m curious as to why you kept the front on leafs instead of going with a 3 or 4 link front while you had it apart?

Agreed! We went back and forth on what to do with the front. Everything is done and ready to go for leaf springs and it’s simple! We weee very close to ripping it all off and doing 3-link and coilovers but it’s not ready for that. We can always do that down the road!

Brushing this stuff was a lot easier and it dried very fast. We could have sprayed but very happy with how it turned out with brushes. We did spray inside of the truss area lol, not easy to get a brush in there.
