The baby cam at the end is wonderful. Great fix for us grandparent types. Shae, you need to paint black stripes on the rear of the car so it looks like a bumble bee! Then add two antenna on the front fenders. Everyone in town will know who is buzzing around. Take care everyone and stay well.

Very cool video, I always enjoy seeing the hydroponics coming together. A little tip on the painting from someone who does it quite often.....You'll want to wet sand instead of dry sand. Wet sanding will provide a much cleaner and smooth surface for your color coat and the end result will be paint so silky smooth and soft, it will remind you of baby skin. You'll also want to do that for the clear coats as well. Great video as always, I've basically been glued to YT for the last two weeks, and it's nice to receive updated content so I don't go completely mad with cabin fever during these crazy times. Good color choice on the car. Bright colors make the car to see (avoiding accidents). As well as a light color that will help keep the car cooler than a dark paint under the arizona sun shine.

When Car & Driver tested the Escort ZX2 with the sport package, it was faster in the slalom than a Ferrari F-355! Do the timing belt and take care of it and it should last a while.

The dust and sand from the lava rock is great for your soil. Lava sand is an organic soil amendment popular in TX at about $10 a bag. It loosens up heavy clay and helps sand hold moisture.

For your next paint job......hook a long chain to the undercarriage stretch it out at least 25ft and at the end of the chain hook a metal bucket full of water..... something to do with static electricity helps keep stuff out of the paint!!!!!

If you use a primer sealer, you don’t have to sand the primer before you paint the car. Primer sealer seals off all the old paint it gives you a nice fresh surface to apply the new paint too.

I love that your whole family is so creative and inventive; you guys are MY kind of people! One thing I have never understood about most of the people in our country is their lack of desire to DIY. So many just go to work, come home, plop in front of the idiot box, chow down on franken-foods, collapse into bed, and repeat every day. Rock chips and other areas where you stand down to bare metal, I should be primer, and blocked. After this is when you apply the primer sealer to the whole car. 30 minutes after applying primer sealer to the whole car you can apply your new paint color.

You should try hydro-dipping your dash panel, believe it can be done with nail polish or you could use extra paint from the car exterior. If it doesn't work out, you can always repaint or whatever...
