you sure make things look easy and now you are in a great shop to work with plenty of good help. This should be one pretty beetle when completed and I sure love the colour. Nice to have you back as you travel the adventures of life.

Hey looks great! Is that House of Kolor Candy apple red ? Thats what I used on my 78' Vert. Planning on wet sanding? Clear coats ? hope you do a part 3 ?

I get all my color from dribs and drabs left over from body shops I do glass work at. They give it to me free because they have to pay to have it trashed. And when I have enough, I just start mixing and hope I come up with a nice color. Too dark? I add some lighter red….that sort of thing. Making shire I have a quart left over for collisions or fender bender. Yeah, when it gets colored and assembled. Angel will sand and buff to make it look better than new. Part 3 is around the corner.

Love that metallic color on the decklid and fenders; is it candy apple red?

Naaa nothing that special. It’s just little bits I get from various body shops….dumped into a bucket and mixed up. If it’s too dark, I lighten it….free paint is great.
