I know, right? Maul is an awesome character and the "Clone Wars" series did Maul far more justice than "The Phantom Menace" did and Sam Witwer's acting really elevates him to new heights. "Formerly Darth, now just Maul." The face came out great, BTW!

I have never painted a figurine before, only 1/35 model figures so I'm not sure this would work. I used to use an ultra fine permanent marker for black lines on camo patterns, preferably a quick drying type that doesn't smudge. Just giving an alternative method for others to try in case you don't have confidence in your brush technique.

I have used Sakura Pigma Micron pens on minis before and that does work well, but I've not tried it over such a large surface area before, so I'm not sure how even the color would be on a none-paper surface. Might be something worth trying though.

Amazing job with the paint! However... "The BEST sith lord??" Lol, This guy is not a sith lord, and never was! Once a misterious and capable sith assassin, he caused an incredible impression with his brief but amazing appearance in "Phantom Menace"and his story should have ended there. With a light of a "what could have been with this guy if Obi-wan doesnt kill him?" Maybe all of us star wars fans could keep wondering this today, with imagination. But the developers of Lucasfilm or Disney wanted to exploit his popularity 20 years ago... His posterior development in clone wars and Rebels, if somewhat interesting, defines an once terrifyng character into a pathethic shadow of a sith. Seriously pathethic. Sith lord?? C`mon...
