Boomer, you never fail to inspire the imagination, and move the channel forward! For me, River Road is already a Masterpiece, and it's not yet near completion. To watch the final touches applied to the Brewery is nothing short of amazing! And, perhaps the best part of your channel is the ability to go back through each series chronologically, and find answers to even the smallest detail. Hands down the most amazing and helpful channel on KZbin! This is the place to be for the art of true model railroading. CHEERS!!!

Boomer does 50 years of wind, dust, mud, rain, sleet, snow, ice and sun, repainting, all in 20 seconds. Everything is random, air blows the alcohol, melts paint, paint runs, alcohol evaporates, creating completely random patterns, shading, textures. The molted effect this has created, is as random as anything in full scale real life. Spray a little, smaller area of effect, spray a lot, large area of effect. Spray a lot of alcohol, then lot of air, a rippled effect. Spray a lot, let stand, a paint run effect. One spot it looked as if a giant water balloon hit the wall, washing the dust and dirt off leaving clean streaks down the wall. I guess I am glad I still have my 60 gallon, 5hp 150 psi air compressor in the garage from working on my cars and trucks. Hopefully soon, I will shamelessly take all of what you have shown and use it on my layout. Thank you Sensei. Buzz.

I found your video to be another extremely detailed description of your techniques employed. I hope you don't mind me asking a question about the model. You previously explained that you bought dimmable LED overhead lights so that you could have a night scene. I'm curious why you didn't install tiny LEDs in the exterior lamps of the Brewery complex as you previously did with the barge slip lights. Just curious. The structure is beautifully detailed and painted.

Those very realistic details of the structure, specially the vents, pipes, everything, but let's concentrate on the "Canister Section"! The little pipe the sticks out from it, those tiny "brackets"! How you made them! What kind of styrene you used?; And also the AC(s)? Very interested in all those details, actually? Blessings! RR

Whatta'ya want me to say? Incredible stuff, man. I have a question for you; I've been using 91% ISO in my airbrush, not because I have anything against 99%, but because I can't find any in my area. What issues/benefits may I see? I don't want to train myself the wrong way. Apart from that, how's your stomach been? I remember a while back you mentioned you had something going on. Is that still current, or has it subsided? Best of luck, and God bless you! Catch you on the next one.
@boomerdiorama2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for asking. My health is good. I use 50% -99% IPA with little or no discernable difference, other than 99% strips paint better. Percentage relates to IPA to water ratio in the bottle you buy. The only negative effects I notice after lots of use is dry skin on my fingers which I remedy with moisturizing cream. Cheers.
