It's funny how the calligraphy cap is making a comeback, I remember doing whole pieces in the late 90s and early 2000s with cheap cans and they all had calligraphy caps. Now 25 years later and I still use the same cheap cans for first lines and throw ups and tags. It's possible to get some nice flares and also really sharp lines with the cheap cans though lol. And that rustocoat red is a beautiful colour.

Out of curiosity, would it not be easier to do the stenciled background after the first lines? Then at the end, you don't have to keep dodging your letters. All you'll need to do is the darker areas on top of the drop shadow.

yes. but as the stencil takes like an extra hour, it is better to make it at the end of the painting, because you never know how much energy you have, how fast you will be done, and you do not want to leave an unfinished piece on o perfect background, but a finished piece on a background without stencils would be acceptable. that’s why i do this afterwards.

Healthy Banana Cup! Is there kind of an rule you found out over the years about how to start to fill the blocks? Like 1. Outlines -> Darkest tone -> middle tone -> lightest tone -> Outline again? Or is it not important, because it depents on size, form and used colors? Because i saw different variations by you. (just for whats efficient/by timing, not that much by ,what is correct' ;) ). i think the way i do is inefficient, but feels right to me. i love to do outlines first, fill the blocks depending on how much shadow they need with outline colour / outline colour + one darker value / outline colour + 2/3 darker values and black. - fadings always look better when you fade the darker colour into the lighter. so better work from outline colour to black, not the opposite way. then i repair some outlines (wouldn’t be necessary if i did them in the right order, but i can’t wait so long with the outlines, i need to do them right after the fillin) and then i add highlights on blocks and outlines with a lighter value of the outline colour. that’s my order that frels best to me.

Was für eine Farbe nutzt du für den Hintergrund? Kannst du irgendwas empfehlen, ich finde es nämlich schwierig richtig gut deckende Abtönfarbe zu finden.

also ich nutze häufig einfach restfarben die ich zusammenkippe. Eigentlich ist das was ich da an die Wand streiche Müll. Da ist von Bitumen über Abtöner, Lack, innen und Fassadenfarbe unterschiedlicher Fabrikate alles drin. Und dann deckt das auch wie sau... teilweise hatte ich in alten Farben sogar liquitex sprühlack mit reingemischt, weil die Acryldosen von denen völliger mist waren damals... ging auch, hat nur son bisschen geschäumt... hahaha ABER - wenn du nicht an die Hall gehst, hol dir einfach Fassadenfarbe von Brillux. Die kannst du in jedem Ton anmixen lassen, da kosten 6 Liter dann irgendwie 40€ oder so, deckt wie sau, ist UV-Stabil, und super. Evocryl nehme ich da für Aufträge.

Alles klar danke. Ich wollte an die Hall und hatte jetzt einmal Baumarkt Farbe die eigentlich für innen ist die hat leider nicht so gut gedeckt. Vllt. Lohnt es sich die günstigste Brillux innenraumfarbe zu holen. Weil hier sehr viel über-malt wird.

@@nictrox878 oh - kleiner reminder: wenn du an die hall gehst, bitte bitte bitte keine innenfarbe. dir kommt die komplette farbe hoch sofern die hall nicht auch innen ist, so wie hier… an öffentlichen halls kannst du alles mischen, aber nehme niemals innenfarbe (auch nicht abgetönt) und auch niemals 100% bitumen. sonst kannst du alles zusammenmischen. Altlacke, restfarben, abtöner, acrylfarbe, etc… aber wenn du mit nem eimer bitumen, oder einem eimer weißer innenfarbe (auch abgetönt) an der hall stehst, kann es gut sein dass es ohrlaschen gibt.

Vielleicht die 9120 shock white Pure ausprobieren, die müsst noch etwas heller sein als die 9100 shock white. Überhaupt gibts zwischen den ganzen weiss tönen der jeweiligen anbieter teils große unterschiede

würde mir gerne noch ein sticker pack holen. das letze war der hammer. die character und pieces sahen immer geil auf meinem skateboards oder auf meinem laptop aus. leider konnte ich nicht alle benutzen, da mir die restlichen samt meinem blackook auf einem festival geklaut wurde :( grade knapp bei Kasse, daher hoffe ich, dass sie im Sortiment bleiben und ich später nochmal die chance habe welche zu bekommen :)

Schaut wie immer fett aus! Ich hab ne Idee für deine nächsten Videos. Du könntest dir doch mal eine Wand in der Größe für dich alleine nehmen und sie in zwei teilen. In Video eins, auf der linke Seite ein Smoe malen, das "E" ausschwingen lassen. Und dann nächstes mal mit dazu passenden Farben das "S" vom zweiten Smoe. in das "E" vom ersten einbauen. Weil was ist besser als ein Smoe piece? Zwei Smoe pieces, ist doch klar.
