in a normal conversation with a person, either they will mention something about me drawing, then proceed to ask if I draw on a computer. I'll reply saying that I do (but not all of my work is digitally done, I've simply have been practicing on it) and they will respond with one of the following: "digital art isn't art, the computer does the work." 1. digital art is a medium, no one can say otherwise. "you must not have time to draw if all you use is a computer." 2. digital art in no way is less time consuming than traditional art. "do you even know what art is?" 3. yes, because I'm an artist. After that, I will add: "have you seen virtual reality art?" and proceed to show them this video.

I'm not an artist. I've tried to learn to draw through tutorials and practice but I have zero artistic skills. Whoever can draw either on the computer, paper or computer is an artist. It requires more than the technical skills but the natural artistic gift to be able to create, imagine and see the lines you want to compose. It's not for everyone and you can't just learn it, part of it is on you. Don't listen to these people, nothing to gain to give their opinion any credit at all.

If you know how to draw and understand digital painting it is easier of course, but this is more about having to get used to the app without the teleporter. I just was able to understand it and it was amazing the new sensation of getting big and small + rotation in 1 sec. my brain is like wtf
