I will be adding items to my store all the time and all proceeds go right back into the channel! So this finally happened. It warmed up enough to paint the K10. As usual its not perfect but good enough. Will likely do some weathering eventually. Still have to find a chassis for it too. I show you how i go about doing the 2 tone paint jobs so many of these trucks had from the factory.

I've used these paints a lot on hard bodies. Great stuff and holds up great! I've used that tack cloth myself. I had never used it until I started painting doors for a company years ago, and now it seems like I use it all the time now. It's always great seeing how you do your stuff! Keep up the awesome work here! Thumbs up bro!

Just watching you trying to paint this model makes me appreciate this body style of the real deal even more. I personally own a 97 silverado, and really I wish they'd make a gmt400 model body shell, then I'd get into the rc hobby for sure.

Those 88-98 body styles are quickly becoming just as timless and recognizable, not to mention desirable, as the square body design.

Looks good! What scale is this truck? 1/12? I like that scale, as it allows for much detail look more realistic.

That would certainly hide some of the imperfections. I will look into it for sure. Not sure I have a steady enough hand to paint it by hand.

Im getting back into RC trucks again, its been about 5 years since I had one, im really into this model the TF2 , im seeing that there are TF2 that come with 1 speed, and or 2 speed transmission? Im guna get one soon I cant wait

The kit version and the kit with mojave body come with a 2 speed. The ready to run truck comes with the single speed. I love the tf2. Very versatile and lots of aftermarket support.

ok so if I want a 2 speed model TF2 I will have to buy the "KIT" and assemble the whole Chassis? also ive noticed tere is a "LWB" long wheel base TF2 ? i want to run a k5 blazer body on a 2 speed TF2 just want to know if the body will fit .
