I have not finished this video yet (I will!), but I wanted to take a moment to thank you for putting out quality lessons so often. There are other artists out there who are just throwing stuff out very often, and the paintings are all very similar with no real effort put into them. At least that’s my opinion. So again, thank you.

This was so fun! The draping of the willow trees was cathartic to paint! I can feel myself getting better with every lesson, thank you so much for these!!

So beautiful and peaceful. I love the water with the shadows and the branches draping from the trees. I could well imagine sitting there on the bank looking out over the water and hearing birdsong.

It seems this is the first time I watch you paint, yet that cannot be since I am subscribed to your channel. Those weeping willow trees are the stars of the painting, so elegantly draping over the lake. Gorgeous. Thank you for the lesson. I would love to give this dreamy scenery a try.

I love the way the details of the willow were *draping down, protecting natures secrets, with their whimsical curtains of evergreen tears. Lovely work! Honestly though I fast forwarded in some places once I got the gist of what you were demonstrating. I was looking for instruction on painting willow tree leaves and limbs and have watched this previously a while back. Thank you SO MUCH for taking the time to present this video to the public. You've helped me quite a bit with this endeavor and I am honestly looking forward to trying your style. God Bless and Keep up The Good Works!! 🎨🖌️👍

Hey Ryan! You are one of m fave artists on KZbin cuz you have a way of demonstating your ways of painting. This is a great video of how you painted the trees and water. My style is different, but it is, still, good to know. Thanks for sharing.

Your images though in the beginning are shapes that are big your technique is great your brush strokes are small and fine. Your video is like watching a production on TV. And you even talk about the little stuff that are important at the big. So thank you for your time and effort to share the painting with us. How do you keep the blobs of paint from drying?

As you are painting the leaves in, in the beginning, do you apply water often to the brush? Cause I noticed that acrylic paint dries fast. I don't like when I over do because it gets muddy-like. So with that in mind, do I allow for drying before continual painting....by the way I am of big fan of yours.

Thank you very much for both painting and tutorial. I was wondering if you have 😅created in acrylics a whole willow tree with tutorial. I have been trying to paint a whole willow tree since last week but didn’t succeed. None of them are beautiful, nor they have a realistic look.

I just became a great-grandmother period. My great-granddaughter's name is Willow. I would love to paint this particular painting. I notice that the canvas is an 8 / 10. Can I enlarge the grid so i use a bigger canvas?

Something ive been wondering is do you use something like liquid white or do you make you brush wet with water first or is it just completely dry

Hello Ryan, I have a simple question. First I love all of your videos. I am watching an older video. The Moose in the Foggy Forest. I love to paint and get so inspired by watching others paint. However, I go through a lot of brushes. Which can get costly. Is there a chance you can do a video or a quick response on proper cleaning techniques? I find my bristles tend to fray quite often. Don't get me wrong that can add amazing texture and bushes leaves etc... BUT I don't always want to buy new brushes. Seeing your work, and all your pieces come out great, I would hope to get advice from someone I enjoy watching. (first-time commenter) Thank you for your video and have a great day!

@RyanORourkeArtist Жыл бұрын
You can add a little yellow ochre into a lot of per-existing greens and it will help you achieve that color. You essentially just want to make a warmer green
