I really enjoyed this video especially as I'm much more into the painting of figures than gaming. I try to paint every figure to display standard. Thank you.

I've seen your posts on Instagram. Now I see how the wizardy happens!

Not wizardry! Just patience... which... sometimes can feel like the same thing. 😀

Very nice video. Interesting to see other painters approach. Mine is to start with pute black and white and in final stages I'm adding color tones with glazes - yellow and brown.
@AnExtrovertPaints2 жыл бұрын
That works! Though I am not as skilled with making glazes as I am with just layering up.

@@AnExtrovertPaints Don't be afraid, it's all just basic painting techniques - drybrushing, layering, glazing, wetblending, blacklining - but all together they make amazing results
@AnExtrovertPaints2 жыл бұрын
@@upirupirovic7139 not afraid, I just prefer to stick with what I am good at on minis like this. That said, I don’t mind practicing new techniques on minis I don’t much care about messing up. ;-)

Excellent tutorial. My prefered method is to go Deck Tan > sepia and black wash > Silver Grey > Off-White for a slightly less 'yellow' but similarly warm cloth colour.
@AnExtrovertPaints2 жыл бұрын
Definitely a faster method! Thanks for watching. 😀

Any suggestion on washes/shading 15mm Austrian German infantry?
@AnExtrovertPaints11 ай бұрын
Not familiar with 15mm to be honest; I live in 28mm. 😅 But…you can’t go wrong with a 50/50 mix of Army Painter dark tone and strong tone, thinned down with a little glaze medium. Then just highlight using your base color.

Appreciate you sharing this. I’ve been thinking about using Golden paints for a while now, but I generally balk at paying $10 for a bottle of paint! Funny that I’ll drop ridiculous amount of money on miniatures I may never get around to painting, but complain about a bottle of paint!
@AnExtrovertPaints2 жыл бұрын
I know all about that struggle! 😅 If you get the smaller bottle of Golden, you will have enough to finish off twenty armies and it is well worth it.

Like unbleached cotton or linen, which is why it is called warm white as opposed to a sterile, cool white. 😃
