Hello, i heard that you could paint over the original color. Is this true?

Hi guys, hope you're good ! The colours I want are advertised as not needing primer on your website, but you're using one here. I know some cans need a prime, was it one those ? Or should I use a primer regardless of the colour I choose ? Thanks

Hi! If your bike is already painted, and you're just adding a new colour on top, you need to prep but don't necessarily/usually need to prime. If your frame is raw (unpainted) material (steel, carbon etc) then you most definitely do need to use one of Spray.Bike's primers.

@@SprayBike-lv5dl Hi, I have 2 questions: 1) when do i know it is not necessary and when is a must to use prime for adding a new colour on top? 2) i saw you just briefly roll some paper to protect the thread and it looks some paint will likely get in. is that ok that some paint get in the threads? thank you
