We're so proud to see our Mini Canvas and easel in this video- that painting was so complex for the size of the canvas!

After one of my miscarriages I started designing “angel beans” as I always imagined the babies like little beans… then about a year ago I started following you and realised it’s almost the same design! Anyway, when you paint them it makes me smile. ❤️

If you decide to have a dollhouse, you can add tiny paintings on tiny easels to make it seem as though the dolls made them. Or place the paintings on the dollhouse walls.

You are not the only one who gets excited over miniature art supplies, or everything miniature, for that matter. I love them! In fact, I followed a tutorial on how to build a mini easel and it now sits on my craft desk 😉 Tip: I put blue tac under each leg of the easel to keep it sturdy while using it. Happy painting!

It is so much fun. I love the flowers. I love your tiny paintings, but not this small. I think they are the 4 by 4 inch. They come out so cute. These are just a bit too small to appreciate your work on them. Also they take so quick to make. I love watching your process. The size just does not do justice to your talent. Love this video! It is always fun watching you make any art. Love you! Love your channel. So much fun. Where is the word for the day? I would love to see more tiny painting videos please. Thank you for a wonderful, fun, positive video. The paintings came out so cute!🥰

Lately I'm been doing adult coloring books as art therapy. I really enjoy coloring while listening to you do your fun little artsy things. Sometimes I feel like watching your videos are a nice and peaceful bonus to relieving my stress. I'd love to see you do more coloring pages. You seem to really enjoy doing art for the process and not just the final outcome. 💕💕 I'm currently working on a cute mandala styled butterfly and trying to learn about shading colors. Eventually work my way up to highlighting and lowlighting.

I have the tiny easel at home and love painting on tiny mini canvasses but I always start out with the easel and then end up picking up the canvas and getting paint all over myself! But the easel is super useful for waiting for stuff to dry and displaying finished paintings

Few months ago, I bought tiny canvas because I saw your videos. And they came with tiny easels. But I never thought to put the canvas on it to paint. I thought they were here just to hold the painting once done and to be cute 😅 So I painted the canvas on my desk and now they are on their easel on my bookshelf. 🥰 It was so fun to see you paint on those tiny and cute easel, maybe I'll try next time. 👍

It's so fun seeing you challenging yourself with these tiny painting. I also working on two different projects, where I fill sketchbooks with a series of paintings. One accordeon style sketchbook with 2x2 in and one normal one with 1,5 inch by about 2 inch. I really enjoy to paint this tiny even if my friends say I'm a bit crazy, especially if I try to paint very detailed. My best friend in these projects is my 10/0 brush.

:55 You're so cute! I love that this thrills you so. We often get so jaded in life that it's a great reminder to enjoy the "little" things. Soooo, out with the old: stop-and-smell-the-roses and in with the new: just-stop-and-enjoy-the-little-things. (Wouldn't that be a great "saying" to be painted on a little canvas?)

I love your channel. I am a new YTers myself and I am far far far away from your levels, but I watch your content and see so many of the ideas I want to tackle too. Its like you are reading my thoughts. I have a whole box of these tiny easels and canvases that I can't wait to paint. I want to do some master paintings on some, eg the Mona Lisa just for fun, but you make me also want to just free my brain and just paint. I love how you just create things with original ideas and think you're awesome :) Just a thought too, maybe you could stick the easel to the desk with something like stick tack.

I’ve collected these tiny easels for some time, as I sometimes like to paint smalls and miniatures.. I’ve purchased them at Michael’s and my local art supply store. I would never try to put a canvas on then to paint, however, but it’s fun watching you do it. 👍😀 p.s. I think your easel may be a bit more sturdily made than the ones I have.

when I took an intro to drawing class in college the professor wouldn't let us sketch on anything smaller than an 18" x 24" with final drawings on paper equally large. While it is good to be comfortable taking up that much space for your art it had the side affect of now I can barely use my 8.5" x 11" sketchbook Thanks for sharing! I'm feeling a lot more comfortable trying my hand at smaller canvas sizes, instead of ignoring the larger ones I already own because I don't want to put that much paint to canvas all at once for my return to art

Mira can I ask with your floral paintings is there a reason you don’t paint the greenery in full and then just put the flowers on top? Is it because the flower colour is not opaque enough?
@MiraByler2 жыл бұрын
It's a stylistic choice - I like to do florals with my own twist of impressionism. It makes the process really enjoyable and whimsical. :)
@libbyh.49262 жыл бұрын
Okay question, why do you lay down that burnt umber if you just cover it up? And I also have that easel, used it for a diorama for an art class in college.
@MiraByler2 жыл бұрын
Good question - it’s harder to see on camera, but I lay the burnt sienna down because it shows through slightly and brings warmth to my paintings. Like if I do a thin layer of a color, sometimes you can see the burnt sienna through it and it has a very pretty effect. It’s a stylistic choice, so definitely not something you have to do. I learned to do it in a painting class in college. 😁
