Watching and listening to you calms me and my PTSD down and my depression seems to go totally away. It gives me hours because I have to pause, and try to paint the way you teach. No one knows any better than me how ptsd can effect your life, no matter what degree you have. I have found watching you really is better that taking any medication. It means so much to be able to escape as I try to watch each of your videos. I have done only 3 oil paintings myself and find it therapeutic. I think your setup is perfect. We can see you and the painting, without having to move the easel or camera. I didn't realize how well the black works for "negative space," if that's the correct term.

Beautiful! Some of my oils are super crumbly when i mix them. I haven't used them in while (maybe 6-12 months) but they used to be smooth. Any idea what might be going on. Appreciate the help!

Sounds like the oil has been displaced from the pigment. You may need to grab some new paint.

Hey man , I’m not on medication at all. I used to be on mountain loads of it 3 years ago. I do know what it feels like to be very restless to the point of trying to hang myself in the woods where I live. I know more about the dark times than I can discuss on here.
