From Texas, Bujee I enjoy your channel very much. I am fascinated by Mongolian music in particular and the culture and history of the Mongols generally. The HU started by interest, then Batzorig Vaanchig, I can't get enough!

This is such a lovely duet. I'm learning to write for Chinese orchestra, and I think I'm gonna replace the cello and contrabass ensembles with morin khuurs. The sound fits better with the gaohus, erhus, and zhonghus!

@@paintwithmusic Thank you! I actually had a question: some of the instrument plugins I've found include a "bass morin khuur". Do you know anything about that instrument? I think in Chinese we'd call it 低音马头琴 diyin-matouqin but I'm not sure what the Mongolian name would be. Example: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iabZlKmrnduqY6M

@@Kavaeric Yes, Ikh Khuur is also one of the main instruments in Mongolian folk ensembles and orchestras. michaelcga.artstation.com/projects/Kr5XnX

@@kevinbastias2434 Hello. The Morin khuur is tuned in fourth. Either fa - si bemol (F - B flat) or mi - la (E - A)
