20" Light ride could work really well as a crash.

FINALLY!! I found what I needed. Those light hats are certainly quieter than heavier models, so I'm thinking of ditching this Roland HH and getting back to a real HH. No rubber electronic HH will ever have the range/feel of an acoustic HH in my opnion.

I just got the light hi hats… comparing to the Roland HH the acoustic light version is still way way louder… be aware…

The 18" heavy crash was a tad "Gongy" but the other 2 sounded great. That was the only one I didn't like, the rest sound great.

I agree with you about the 18" heavy crash. Weird overtones. What did you think of the Light Ride? It had no presence at all, to me.

The names are confusing, the heavier it is the higher it gets, and the lighter it is the lower it gets.
