Paiste i put my hero 3 in the exact same spot on my mod 2! With the little bit of footage i have with it i really like the view that it gives. I should be posting some footage after the weekend.

This should work well with your snow mobile adventures. I used a helmet cam riding around town and it was too jerky, as I was watching for traffic and such. But I agree that the pointing with the chest mount is tricky, lol.. Looking forward to some new footage with it... Cheers

***** Thanks. I could see how checking for traffic constantly work be quite jerky. I rendered part 1 last night. I'll be uploading it soon. Cheers.

Great video. Still kinda in doubt if I should put it on my modular helmet. It's a Schuberth c3 pro and quite expensive.

I believe they are removable. I would do it.

Take a hair dryer and heat it really good then press it more. Makes the mount really bond to the helmet and might help bend the mount to fit

Andrew Birt I'll give it a try, although it help up fantastic on the first ride.

I never had a modular helmet, always wore motocross style, it's easier to mount on top. I use both my gopro hero 4 on it, one facing forward, the other backwards. We has 19 inches of powder, temps warmed up and melted, didn't last a week, but now it's been 3 degrees out and no snow, wth

boondockr97 If I had a second gopro I would do that too. Lucky for me the weather stayed cold and we keep getting more snow. We must have 24-30 inches of snow.

Lucky you!! We had one snow storm all winter. What's crazy is that my gopro 1 works better than my 2 gopro 4. My 4 freezes up and the screen says SD error. I had some awesome footage riding along some 8 and 10 point bucks, get home and it says that. Wth

I use sugru glue because 3M double tape will not stay on after a month! Thanks for the video showing me mount gopro on side of motorcycle helmet!!
@Paisteboy4 жыл бұрын
That's fine but I've never had a GoPro come off of my helmet in all of the years that I've been using them. I have a hero 7 and hero 8 too and have zero problems with the 3M tape failing. I make a lot of high speed cold weather videos too.

I think I would still tether the camera with a lanyard or strap. Great video!

Volusia-ev I really wanted to but didn't have anything to tether it with. I worked awesome though. No problems. I even fell off the sled and landed on it with a problem. Thanks.

It must be a problem at your end. The audio sounds perfectly fine at my end. Check your connection and try again. This is not a recording. lol.
