Pajero Pinin speaker exchange | JBL Stage 3 627 | Installation overview

When I bought my Mitsubishi Pajero Pinin in October 2023, there were still some things to do in order to restore an acceptable overall condition. Besides rust in the wheel arches and change of all oils, I noticed the front door speakers to be broken very soon. The cracking and bad sound quality really annoyed me, so I decided to not only exchange the broken speaker, but also upgrade the system to a more modern solution. I found a pair of JBL Stage 3 627 speakers, which should fit the Pinin´s front doors flawlessly.

Thank you! Not yet, as I did not change them so far. The JBLs were enough for me in the front doors. But the rear speakers actually can be changed the same way, there is no real difference besides the different form factor of the cover panels :)

@@GoPinin That is why I was asking if you did the rear ones as well, as for the rear panels I believe we have to remove the back seats as well. 😉

@@goncaloabreu541 That´s possible, I removed the back seats to have a larger trunk. But it´s not very difficult, just 6 screws if i remember correctly :)

Can u tell me specs from u'r 1DIN player? How much power and ohm ? After 1 year I installed 4 GZRF 6.5SQ speakers and I have nav android, when I raise the volume for a few seconds, distortions appear as if the membrane wants to come out of the speaker. I think it's about ohm res..
