Energy security is important for the economy of any country. In the first phase of CPEC, 5,000 MW projects have been implemented and in the second phase of CPEC, additional 3500 MW alternative energy projects have been implemented. According to Khalid Mansoor, Chairman, Economic Corridor (CPEC), the economy needs stable, uninterrupted and affordable electricity. Until a few years ago, electricity was being generated from furnace oil in the country. But CPEC is changing everything, in the first phase 5 thousand megawatt projects and in the second phase we are looking even more, especially more power plants are being set up in Thar. Besides this, thar coal will be converted to gas so we can produce more electricity at low price.

Coal thear -17.00 per unit Import Coal. -43.00 per Unit LNG. -77.00 per unit Atomic energy -17.00 perunit Furnace oil. -55.00 per unit Solar energy. -14.00 per unit Wind energy -12.00 per unit All over the world they are stopping from coal, Furnace oil and LNG they are producing green energy because of pollution and climate change.
