Great respect for Raja Ranjit Singh as a Pakistani. Raja Ranjit Singh was from Gujrawala and Lahoris (both Muslims, Hindus and Sikhs) invited Raja Ranjit Singh after the Bhangi rulers prosecuted minorities. In Raja Ranjit Singh's tenure his Punjab was spread from Multan to Afghanistan. Infact Peshawar was made part of Punjab annexed from Afghanistan during his period. He was a tolerant and secular ruler who had Muslims, Hindus apart from Sikhs in his court. His Foreign Minister was a Muslim. Salute to this great ruler.

What a great open-minded discussion on Ranjit Singh and Hari Singh Nalwa. ARY channel has shamed the whole Indian media whose approach is to glorify one race one community. Forget Ranjit Singh, Hari Singh Nalwa or Sham Singh Attariwala, they have thrown into oblivion even a great Guru, Guru Teg Bahadur, who sacrificed his life for them. On the other hand Sikh community always remembers Pir Budhu Shah, Nabi Khan and Gani Khan along with Bhai Sati Das, Bhai Mati Das, Dewan Toder Mal and Mehta who served warm milk to Mata Gujri and her two grandsons in thanda burj at Fatehgarh Sahib. I do not know why Pakistan is praising Sikhs. they never praise any other south Asian kings. their history books never show ranjitshingji as great rulers. panelist is self contradicting by saying that he heard of Sikh atrocities on Muslims and on the other side they are praising him. porous was a Hindu king. Sikhs were originally Hindus. Sindhi's are both Hindus and Muslims.
