Great respect for Raja Ranjit Singh as a Pakistani. Raja Ranjit Singh was from Gujrawala and Lahoris (both Muslims, Hindus and Sikhs) invited Raja Ranjit Singh after the Bhangi rulers prosecuted minorities. In Raja Ranjit Singh's tenure his Punjab was spread from Multan to Afghanistan. Infact Peshawar was made part of Punjab annexed from Afghanistan during his period. He was a tolerant and secular ruler who had Muslims, Hindus apart from Sikhs in his court. His Foreign Minister was a Muslim. Salute to this great ruler.

Those People who say Sikhs fought wars against Muslims they never read history. NIETHER Sikhs have any enemity with Muslims nor with Hindus. But Pandits/Brahmins/Molvis got against Sikhs principle because Gurbani teaches us stand against Pakhand/Cruelty/Myths/illusions. These took as a challenge and start conspiracing against the Sikhs. Guru Arjan Dev ji was first Martyr in Sikhs. "Chandu Shah" a well known Hindu in Mughal court started conspiracy against Guru Ji. Then few hindu kings(Regional) from Himachal was jealous of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. They were the one who started War against Guru ji and against The Khalsa. Sikhs fought against cruelty/inequality/caste system/Slavery. Sikhs stood against these things and came under one flag. Though Sikhs fought against Sikhs as well to merge all missils into one kingdom. Today if India and Pakistan has Ladakh/Kashmir/Peshawar/Multan in their maps they should be thankful to Maharaja Ranjit Singh. The great ruler of The Greater Joint Golden PANJAB.

If punjab would have not been annexed by British, we would have been the strongest military I'm sure. There was equality to all religions. The army included sikh,pathan,dogra,Gurkha and some Europeans. Everyone got justice. When khalsa Raj comes again( In today's world literally means Khalistan) we will all reunite. Utmost respect to the Pakistani media for making an informative and inspiring program about our Punjabi Heroes , Shere - lion of Punjab. In a such an impartial and secular manor. Heroes that Indian Government wishes to bury in the dirt. Nehru wanted a final solution for sikhs as he saw them as a threat but history cannot lie, Maharaja Singh and HarI Singh Nawal were true defenders of all Punjab's , all faiths, religions and all its people and its minorities and defended Punjab from all invaders. We need to start celebrating and teaching about our great leaders and kings despite of what religion they might be. A truthful and just leader is what we need today. I salute the Shere Punjab and the lion of Punjab. Punjabi people should be united and not create divisions based on religion and cast. Punjab was the jewel in the crown of the british imperialist empire as it was called SONA THE CHIRI. - GOLDEN BIRD/LAND. so many invaders came to plunder and invade. The bad and intolerant finally succeeded in dividing Punjab and gave much land away. Punjabi people need to unite where ever they are. Long live Punjab and Punjabi mother tongue.
