I like Test cricket more than ODI and T20 because test cricket is the format which tests the player's mental toughness, skills, temperament, patience to grind through each ball and play according to the demand of the situation. But I can not say I don't love other 2 formats. If you need a quick fix of excitement and get your adrenaline pumping and heart racing then T20 is the format for you. Those days when 16 runs would be required of last over then you wouldn't want anybody else but Dhoni on the field because he was the man to get the job done, he won us several games by hitting last ball of the over for 6 with 6 runs required. That used to become the topic to talk about for days.

*It's not the close game they have 17 runs on 11 balls and Afridi on batting. Better version is 39 required of 17 balls and last batsman is left..Dinesh Karthik did it against Bangladesh and it was final match. There was only one batsman left other player was a bowler and India chased that just coz of great sense of Dinesh Karthik*

Afridi earned the nickname BOOM Boom because of his explosive style of batting but most of the times he scored a couple of sixes and got out, it was always a cameo, once in a blue moon he would come out and win games. We as Pakistanis would hold our hearts whenever he was on, it was super tense and yet exciting too, nonetheless Afridi had massive star power, grounds used to fill up just for him

T20 cricket is entertainment, most of the T20 games go down the wire,and the result isn't controllable, with longer formats you make the right decisions and gradually win it. You have to earn the win, it's not about a couple of lucky shots, but long term planning so I like one day and Test more

Hi I am from the West Indies and I love cricket in all it's forms. Test cricket one day cricket and 20/20 cricket. The one day and 20/20 cricket games are typically played on flatter wickets (less assistance off the wickets to assist the bowler seaming or bouncing the ball) so the bowler has to rely on field positions which have restrictions for parts of the game. Hense batsmen can score at a faster rate with more freedom while hitting. Test cricket wickets can have more grass on the first day that assist the bowlers to get the ball to grip on the wicket and bounce higher and bowl faster balls. Or they can be dry and rough to help assist the spin bowlers. As the name implies Test cricket is a true test of a batsman and bowlers skill. From the start of the game the fielding team has the same restrictions for the entire game and can choose to be as attacking or defensive as they like. It's strange but I love and enjoy the 5 day game just as much as the rest. Just a side comment from a previous video with Mr Brian Lara they did bowl short pitched bouncers at him but most good batsmen have different shots to different balls and he was one of the best. Good balls that would beat other batsmen would be hit frustrating some of the best bowlers of the time both pace and spin. The battles can be epic. May the best team win.

My favorite form of cricket when I was a kid was ODI's. Now I only watch that form when it is the ODI Cricket World Cup. I like T-20 but not for internationals. I prefer IPL or BBL. I think the T-20 format is great entertainment but my #1 is Test Match cricket.

But this man afridi changes the game in late 90's, he hold the record for more then 15 years of fastest century, whenever he came to the crease to play the opponents spread their fields because this man start hitting the ball from starts.

There are two teams in cricket that are extremely Knicks-esque. Though, their poor performance is less to do with one owner being insanely flambouyant like Dolan, and more to do with just horrendous luck. The teams are: Royal Challengers Bangalore - IPL (India) Brisbane Heat - BBL (australia) Both teams have supreme talent on their roster, and they consistently suck year after year after year. Their players go on to have really really good seasons outside of these teams.

I'm OK with all 3 official formats (Test is still the best) but personally I like to watch a match where Pitches favour Bowlers (either Spin or Seam) on which Batsmen scoring big being a true achievement. You should definitely watch Malinga's 4 Wicket Hat Trick vs South Africa. SA needed just 4 runs to win in at least 5 over with 5 Wickets in hand, then comes Malinga, he took Wicket no. 6, 7, 8 & 9 on consecutive balls & left SA with just 1 Wicket left but SA won. Still they were suppose to win easily & Malinga's spell almost changed the result, I (probably everyone) felt he should've taken that 5th Wicket too despite him taking 4 consecutive Wickets which itself is next to impossible in today's Cricket & I think he's the only one to have done it & that too twice (vs NZ).

Good video gents. Just FYI, cricketers don’t think about bowling/fielding as ‘defense’. And we don’t think about batting as ‘offence’. I guess you could make a case for those terms in T20 cricket, but in longer forms of the game it’s really not helpful to think in those terms. In either discipline you will have periods of play when you’re attacking and periods when you’re defending. It all depends on the state of the game, the ball and pitch conditions etc. A better analogy would be an F1 driver trying to balance the need for speed with the need to preserve their engine& tyres. At certain times they will be more conservative and at other markets they’ll take on more risk. Think of batters and bowlers both constantly trying to balance a version of this risk/reward equation, whilst racing each other at the same time.
