These were all Afghanistan refugees. Pakistan get very few foreign tourists so they show nice hospitality and give free stuff to rare tourists. Wait till they get as many foreign tourists as they r in India, srilanka etc.

I have travelled a lot around India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Looking at many Pakistani videos on You Tube this takes things to a different level. The Pakistanis seem to be so friendly and Genuine and not out to Scam foreigners. I have booked a 3 week holiday to Pakistan for October basing myself in Lahore. Looking foreword to my adventures in Pakistan

Because they don't get that many foreign tourists, that's why they give free stuff to the rare tourists. If they start getting as many foreign tourists as they r in India , srilanka they would definitely not give free stuff anymore. And in Pakistan govt control is too much , they also tell the local people to give foreign tourists free stuff to promote their tourism.

@@truthseeker7423 Have you ever travelled in Pakistan? Pakistani government doesn't tell vendors to give foreigners free stuff. That's not true one bit. The hospitality comes from culture and religion. Peshawar would be the pinnacle of Pashtoon hospitality. It will be the street vendors who would do that a lot more than bigger restaurants and hotels. Poorer they are the more they will try and treat their guests. Quite the opposite of what we see in the west

People too are informally told to be more hospitable to foreigners. I don't think local people will choose to give free stuff to every foreign tourist if foreign tourists become common like local tourists , like they have in srilanka, India , Nepal etc.

Its HASHT-NAGRI Bazar (Hasht means eight (8) in Persian language and Nagar or Nagri means Area or Bazar). This Bazar have 8-Big arched gates to enter).............. Moreover, the other item is called ""PHAYNI in Urdu/Hindi. We people use this by adding either in Sweeet Milk or Tea (as you call it Chaey). Its special thing for Ramazan. All over Pakistan

Although Pakistan everywhere is hospitable, but after seeing almost all the vlogs I could find on Pakistan, Peshawar and entire KPK belt seems to be more hospitable and gentlemanly than elsewhere like Sindh or Punjab. The Pashtuns have good personality.

You are so right , pukhtoons are known to be extreme in hospitality ,It’s because we have our own standard ,we call it pukhtoonwali . We will offer hospitality even if we have nothing ourselves . We mind if someone goes without at least having a drink with us . If you go to the villages ,you will be told to be at home ,pillows will be brought to you and put behind your back , you will be told to lift your feet up ,take the weight off them ,food and drink will be brought very fast. Because tea will be on stove soon as you entered the house . I went to many houses and they do this . You will be treated as a honoured guest . This is part of pukhtoonwali .
