if Stamping Parts are made in Pakistan its highly likely that Atlas Pakistan used deprived thickness sheet metal to manufactured those parts. However at highspeed collision result more or less would be the same irrespective of manufacturer or brand.

anything is possible. I asked an engineer who than asked a metallergy guy and he said that it will adversely effect the body stiffness and a company can ditch features etc but to start a whole new stamping process with an even thinner metal is very costly,. so i dont think honda will spend money to make the car weaker. lol. un ka bas nai chalta warna patla metal use kar lain.

@@dabbay They don't need to start new process to use thinner metal, i under stand your point that it will effect structural integrity of vehicle but who damn care about stiffness or the safety, in Pakistan " Paisay bachney chahiyai" no one here to keep a check on Local Assemblers. Atlas has poor industrial safety record. few years back they have a major accident at their Battery Manufacturing plant in Karachi where they tried to use wrong furnace to melt Aluminum which resulted Explosion & death of couple of their workers.

another video uploaded today by survived owner mentions opening of air bag at very late stage HOW to be saved from such accidents requires many fold actios 1. Government should make it mandatory to have crash check in Pakistan for locally made vehicles 2. Honda should come up with their own version about the accident, though they hired you by providing material for video , which is not acceptable 3. I know Honda will cover it like they did in case of failure of their turbo civic by blaming all marketing companies of High Octane. They should have asked OGRA (regulator for petroleum product) for check random sample to confirm RON 4. I still remember when current model of civic was introduced with worst time of workman ship but no one challenged them 5. A Ban should be made on FURTHER SALE OF CIVIC BY GOVERNMENT TILL MATTER IS INVESTIGATED .

if you want to believe that honda is paying a youtuber with 3k subs than its your choice. the wrekage of the car shows that it was a high speed manouver which went south. Honda pakistan is no saint but calling it out on something which is an obvious loss of car control is not gonna get us anywhere, if you look at my videos I have adequately criticized honda where it was due in the past. That honda blaming of petrol quality in Pakistan was justified and an investigation into the petrol showed that the petrol in Pakistan has exessive amount of MMT which is a performance and environment impacting substance. honda workman ship and finishing is not upto par, no doubt about it, but that doesnt translate into the loss of control or the brake issues mentioned by the survivor. high speed and higher ground clearance is the issue.

HONDA never approached OGRA with their complaint against quality of HIGH OCTANE in Pakistan Fact of the matter is they removed the defect in turbo and reintroduced turbo civic, quality of high octane is same ! Is it not enough to prove HONDA pakistan claim wrong ? You also went step ahead to show you loyalty HONDA by saying you had experienced USA and pak made civic and they both feel same in drive If it is so ,My dear how come HONDA pakistan made changes in design by increasing its height ? you must be knowing that by lifting height changes it’s balance , it CANNOT BE STABLE with same frame as designed for low ground vehicle

I’m only comparing the body structure of pkdm and international model which is similar. The local model has only 2 airbags which is not upto par with international version but the body structure is similar. The welding might be finished badly etc but the basic structure would always be similar

when ever a hand brake is pressed the brake icon appears in the instrument cluster. jub yeh icon appear ho to cruise control ko automaticaly switch off ho jana chaeye. ziada tar garioon main ise tarah program hota hai. waisay b agar high apeed pay hand brake lage jae to gari skid karte hai, aglay paheye chal rahay hotay hain aur pichlay pay brake aati hai. is sorat e hal main gari roll nahi honi chaheye laiken agar driver us ko galat turn day to gari roll ho sakte hai.

Pkdm cars are not crash tested. But the structure is made like what you get in overseas model. The difference in safety is the active safety systems like advanced controls and airbags etc. The purpose of this video is only to elaborate the frame of the car.
