Britishers eventually made a mistake which proved costly to them. They allowed, rather promoted Indian students for Modern Education outside India, thinking that these educated Indians will come back and serve British Govt in ruling India. However, this plan backfired, as educated Indians returned and started freedom movements and eventually freed India.

15:15 Bahadurshah did not have any interest in governance and rule, he was more inclined towards poetry and philosophy. His affairs were controlled by Marathas first and then Britishers started giving him pension after capturing Delhi. In 1857, he was already 82 years old, and felt so weak and confused that he was in no position to support mutiny. .

Multiple factors behind religious conversions in India. Forceful conversions after defeating native people and due to belief that idol-worship is wrong (happened all over india in fractions), self-conversion cuz of caste system where lower castes were not allowed in temples (bangladesh is an example), self-conversion due to occult power shown by sufi mystics (punjabi jaats and gujjars are examples), self-conversion due to alienation of a hindu by his own people in case he traveled over seas or ate meat (jinnah's family is example), high-tax enforced on a hindu zamindar in form of jizyah (bhutto family is example), by giving choice between death and conversion after a hindu did administrative error (allama iqbal's family example).... and so on.

Before you question regarding the unity of Bharat at that time, dont ever forget that Bharat was already under the torturous rule of Islamic invaders who wrongfully conquered Bharat, (OBVIOUSLY BECAUSE WE ARE HINDUS) so they raped, killed, maligned millions of people, looted, enslaved people, converted, destroyed and looted our temples, educational instituitons, libraries, books, again and again, caused genocides, used to do rape the females of defeated groups, used to do necrophilia (raping?sexual intercourse with dead bodies) acts thats why the system of 'Johar' started by woman so that they can save their honour, etc. Thus our people were already struggling for centuries for survival, saving their modesty/honour, food, save themselves from getting converted, pay huge amout of taxes to practice their faith as we are Kafirs, etc. Then came the Britishers who also increased these tortures multiple times, thus people were already victims of centuries of oppression thus everyone was just trying their best to survive and did whatever they had to. You cant expect the victims of oppression to keep high morale all the time. Along with it Bharat is such a huge country at that time, so its natural that in cycles of ruling within those centuries by different princely states fault lines do appear, thus the British took advantage of it and did what they did, This has happened all over the world. Still we saved our Country from being Islamic or Christian. Also it took more than 500 years for Turkic invaders to establish a proper control over a particular part of India. Just imagine the resistance and courage of our ancestors. Proud Bharatiya here.

Indians never stop anyone from spreading their religion. When you saw history, in ancient time king ashoka himself spread and follow Buddhism, but he himself is hindu. In India a wide variety of religions came and Indian respect all of them. But you see that not a single religion disrespect or move against Hindus or Hinduism . They also respect other religions. In starting when muslim community came they can't do disrespecting of other religions .but when muslim invaders came they start forcefully conversions of other religions. Which is against the religions of Indian subcontinent. And now also Muslim community disrespect and do forcefully conversion of Hindu and other sub religions.

Very Informative Video. As I am Masters in History and Social Studies, I am well aware of these facts. No one can guess the Amt. looted by East India Company and later British Crown (Govt)... The fact is that, India, who had a share of approximate 35% in International Trade, before the advent of Britishers,was reduced to just 4%, at the time of Independence. When islam initially came to india it was only in kerala. It did not spread that much. With the coming of mughals all these forceful conversions happened even then it was still not a threat to hindu existence. With nehru coming to power and saudi oil money flowing into india targeting the lower caste did the damage. Lower castes got a sense of pride and respect after converting from the same hindus who oppressed them before. Also muslim birth rate is very high too...In all these holy book had no role...all just convenience and benefits.😂😂
