2013 ke flood me 10000 se jyada log maare gaye the. Kedarnath me sabhi kuchh destroy ho gaya tha except temple. Kedarnath me sabhi kuchh naya banaya gaya hai or abhi Kedarnath ka development chal hi raha hai.

You can't go to kedarnath by bike....after Gaurikund you need to Trek 17km or you can hire a horse or by helicopter.... Har Har Mahadev🙏🙏🙏🙏

It's not easy to travel to Kedarnath. I have been to. I did trekking from base. Once u make that climb in life nothing stops us from facing any difficulty in life and will always feel the Presence of Divine hand on us. 🙏🙏 Helicopter services r recent addition , earlier the place didn't look like this. There were many places to stay, I guess many r washed away in floods hence shortage of place to stay!

I am non religious since childhood and always hated visits to any temples But in 2011 I went to kedarnath with parents and when we reached the top after trekking for 12 hrs, I felt an emotional vibe just by looking at the temple and mountain behind it. I cannot explain what it was, but it was a great feeling. I am still non religious but kedarnath is in my bucket list for 2021, 10 years later

I have been asked by foreigners whether they can travel to kedarnath or foothills of Himalayas by bike.... I want to make it clear to all foreigners that common indians do not travel on risky hilly roads by bike.... Many options are available like cheap flights.. ac trains... Helipads... Local cars and horses etc.. many good hotels are available..so plan your trip safely and in peace without rush of blood for adventurism... best wishes...
