Not only this he insulted Pawan Kalyan in many ways mainly talking about his 3 marriages. Finally AP state people slapped YSRCP party by their votes. A thumping majority for NDA Alliance(TDP-136+, janasena-21, BJP-7) total of 164/175 in state assembly and 21/25 in lokh sabha

Chiranjeevi floated his own party in 2008 & got 17% voting & 18 assembly segments. Pawankalyan was youth president in that party. Due to separate state movement & many other factors chiru merged his party in congress & served as central tourism minister. Pk remained silent then. After separate statehood given by congress & party confined to 0 assembly seats then. Pk floated his own party then & supported nda then. Chiranjeevi quit politics after congress lost its existence in AP politics due to state division. Then chiru came back to movies. This time chiru supported his brother party & donated some huge amount & requested public to vote for his brother party & nda alliance through social media & posted some videos. His entire family campaigned for NDA alliance this time. Chiru is a father figure to pawan and pawan always loyal to his brother. Never ever uttered a single word against his brother & he won't leave anyone comments his brother. Chiranjeevi is the main pillar for mega family and many actors like pawankalyan, ramcharan, allu arjun, varuntej, saitej had become actors through his support.

That slipper context: Pawan Kalyan was in alliance with TDP earlier ..YCP party (under YS Jagan as CM 2019-2024) leaders insulted Pawan Kalyan that he took package to give support to TDP..and they even targeted his personal life by saying that pawan kalyan changes his wives every 4 years..he has 4 four wives..and pawan kalyan tolerated until that point..and that particular slipper scene was when his tolerance ended and said those dialogues by showing slippers..
