In her Teenage days, Lata ji used to copy madam Noor Jahan but at one instance when Lata ji got a chance to meet madam Noor Jahan, madam Noor Jahan ji asked Lata ji to sing. And after listening her song madam Noor Jahan ji replied to her " beta tum baut achha gaati ho, riyaaz karte raho aur apni alag pehchaan banao". We lost 2 most precious gems of the universe. Madam Noor Jahan ji and Lata ji. Inke jaisa na koi tha aur na koi hoga.
