​​​​@@callmeastro1734I would also hope for better aim settings for console that don't feel so clunky and half hazardly put together, the aim ramping options suck and there isn't really anything else you can change outside sense and aim acceleration when most modern FPS games have way more options than this so you can make how you aim feel good rather than clunky and awkward. Tbh I don't know if there is a similar situation on PC or not but I don't think I have seen any PC players have issue with aim the settings on Paladins. Obviously you want Paladins 2 to run better, have less bugs and crashing and have less crappy looking graphics (doesn't have to be super polished like overwatch but they should at least look a little better) but I do want the aim settings to feel better on console too because they feel really bad, I'm not saying you can't get good aim with the current settings but they do feel bad. One more thing I want from Paladins 2 if it happens is having all 3 talents for each champion to have some kind of use case because many of the talents in this game are practically useless. I don't know the current state of the game because I quit a bit more than half a year ago but I don't imagine much has changed when it comes to this stuff in that amount of time considering these have been problems since the game came out.

My expectations of Paladins 2 would be a bug free stable game (when I say bug free I mean a lot less bugs than the current game), a better engine to support more cool things, a proper mm system with nice rewards for participating, the option to transfer our account (with every skin, emote etc), new fun and original game modes and many elements of the past paladins had (death cam, old vgs for console, option to buy levels) and of course the original battle pass.

For Paladins 2, I just want paladins but unreal engine 5, new coding, no bugs, no crashes. The main problem new players/my friends have is the game crashing every 3 games. It can be very hard to get people interested in a game they can't play.

They should expand the mastery skins. 300 kills with Maeve will get you gold daggers, but 300 headshots will get you the golden character skin. Or maybe 2,000 seconds on the obj gets you a cool weapon skin. I don't even care if you only earn the ability to unlock the skins and still have to pay for them with gems. I just like knowing that if I see someone rocking a mastery skin, they've put their time in.

Regarding limited skins, I agree with you. Unlock them and make them available for purchase. Hi-Rez talks about lack of funding, but has these skins locked for years! Anyway to generate revenue is a no brainer.

They should make shooting effects less vivid, some of the champions such as Dredge has annoying basic attacks that blocks your vision with its non stop explosions, sometimes I even turn my head and try to look a dark point because after looking 8-10 min to screen it starts hurting my eyes

Maybe a game with completely different name, lore, champions and mechanics. But still a hero-shooter. I think they can get a much better experience starting by making a whole new game than being embedded to making a sequel to a game with a lot of bad reputation, bad lore and just copied designs. People outside the community of Hi-Rez would just see Paladins in the title of the game and would probably already have negative thoughts about it... But who knows

The game is fine, why overhaul it? Minus the bugs, to a lot of people its way better than OW2. It has its niche that it knows works, why change. Especially when it can get polished up to really be fitting of a competitive shooter. I think Paladins is OBJECTIVELY better than OW2. I think OW 2 is for kids, stoners, Blizzard fanboys and people desperate for a true hero shooter. Its a watered down corpo cashgrab that literally looks like its had its soul taken out. Paladins can succeed where OW has failed. The numbers dont lie, the demand is there.

Great video. Happy to see you more... happy? 😁 My 2 cents... After they released Corvus, the general direction of the game increasingly went into these "dark" and "evil" new champion and skin themes. If the current team would work on a Paladins 2 I'm afraid of what it would turn out to be. I got interested in Paladins because of the cute or cool looking champions blasting each other to pieces. Now everything has to be about skulls and death. Also instead of just Siege, I'd like to see a return of focus to the Siege Remixed mode with the larger maps. I hate that it was brought back in the anniversary update and then ditched again. A new engine of course, better graphics (but still the same movement mechanics like wall-jumping etc., with the original champion roster and instead of just balance and skin updates actually add some fucking new maps every once in a while. Return of the kill cam and top play also very high on the list. But... How could Paladins 2 ever happen if the current game barely has enough devs and resources? Blatantly ignoring the incredibly strong and talented community we have where people would not mind creating content for free and contribute to the game. For example, I for one would happily work on "decorating" the test maps so they could actually release them and we get new maps to play on. Also, would the games co-exist or would this mean the end of Paladins?

Initially when I heard people talking about Paladins 2 (that was a while ago, probs around when OW2 was announced) I was like "that sounds silly why not just fix the game we already have, adding 2 to it just sounds like some stupid marketing thing"... but people have pointed out that starting the code on a fresh slate instead of building up onto the buggy mess that 20 other sets of devs have added onto in the past, might really end up being much better. Now IDK I'm not sure I'm too much of a fan of building characters, like an RPG I enjoy making my own unique build and so on, but I don't think I'd vibe with it too much in a shooter. IDK I've barely played over the last year and a half, not because of anything REALLY in the game, but after 5+ years of making sure to grind out the battle passes, log in pretty much daily to do the quests and so on, well it did get overwhelming. But even if I've played 5 times in the last year I do still love the game and would really love if it did rise from the ashes. I mean there have been a total of 2 online shooters that I've played for more then 2 weeks without getting bored. As a lot of the popular shooters I just don't really vibe with, but IDK what did Paladins do, I think in comparison to a lot of games there's much less burstiness (as in, in a normal 1v1 you don't get deleted in 0.2 seconds) then a lot of others. And also while it is a shooter with guns and whatnot, the world still feels like a medieval fantasy, and I do think medieval fantasy is a thousand times better then modern/futuristic vibe.

The mounts should be more useful instead of just using them to get to the point or the opposing teams backlines. They should be able to attack and defend with their own abilities. The same can be said for all those strange emotes and sprays. Just think about using an emote or a spray to dodge or negate one or two attacks. Those sprays could also allow you to gain better agility on the battlefield. Wall running, jumping and grabbing on to environments in the maps. There's a long list of possibilities. Don't worry Paladins will be great again or even better than before.

tbh they should streamline some of the mechanics and properly tutorialize it, yes the extra jump height while looking into walls is just a jank fix but if they tutoralized it people would learn the depth of what that adds to a LOT of characters specially on 1v1s when the enemy is dead hugging you and that extra height can make him miss more shots.

I'm noi addicted to the possibility and I have a solution. Make character creation like Xenoverse 2. Here me out. So your created character has a point based system where they can learn a certain pool of moves based on role and blocked from others. For example Healers can learn all healing moves, many movement skills, a few defense moves, and no damage. Alternatively Flanks can learn all movement, most damage, some healing, and no defensive. All moves have numbers of strength to show how learnable they are. Points not used can go into raw character stats with diminishing returns to prevent it just being CoD. With characters, none return. Instead make the lore around the alternate universe of Pepper. She's the face of the series as she's colorful, fun, and furry. Then have a universe of a handful of new neon music themed punk or many more kinds of characters. But as it's a character creator game, you don't need many, just some to have for all classes. Base character are a slight bit stronger than created but not as many options for changes skills so it incentivises creativity but getting good at base characters isn't a bad thing at all. Gameplay can be like old paladins game modes. The event modes as normal stuff like the soccer but it's polished to be something special with giving everyone cool mobility options. Normal gun games but make it so maps are multi leveled and you don't need to even go off with teams if you don't want. Make kills be fun, execution almost gears of war style but cartoonish because that's something people would buy. Have wild map transitions upon a team hitting a score or time limit like the level flooding or some things moving around or sporadic power outages that disable HUD and team outlines. It's easy to just say what we want but it's expensive and hard to make. If it wasn't I'm sure Hi-Rez would have already done most of this with Paladins. Ambition can make more roadblocks which can set everyone else back further. But dreaming is fun.

Honestly I would be ok if we didn't get any new gamemodes or anything and just got paladins upgraded and remade in unreal engine 5. Add along Top Play and kill cams and stuff like that. I like paladins as is now but one of the issues people have with it is the bugs which can cause people to not want to play it. At some point gamemodes would be interesting but even with just an engine upgrade they would have already done more to make it different enough to call it a second game than overwatch did with overwatch 2.

I used to play smite hard cos it reminded me of WoW, but i hate the main mode with a passion. If you dont know exactly what to do and when, youre gonna lose. No game should be like that. This has already been revealed on Raventric's video. That they were to work on Paladins 2, using the same engine as Rogue Company, but part of the devs wanted to make the game but with mostly different champions, but it got cancelled anyways.

Paladins 2 just needs to be a way more polished experience. No more crashes every third game, no more anticheat bugs, bringing back old features like killcam and stuff, a actual good polished spectator and Replaymode and most important better Matchmaking. It cant be that half the playerbase gets 10 wins in a row and after that 10 loses in a row. Paladins 2 should really focus on the best parts of Paladins and enhance them. Thus being the customization and fun abilities. If u ask me creating ur own Character sounds amazing but extremely hard to balance.

If they do. They better transfer skins, even if it's not from the launch or how long it takes longs if they promise to transfer them. But now knowing Hi-rez don't care about that I doubt it, and well a Paladins 2 would just mean no more paladins for me I guess. I don't see any point buying skins and supporting BPs if none of it matters and is just got rid of in a sequel. And I like limited skins in the condition they are just recolours or there is a recolours of it later on that aren't limited. Because then it don't feel that bad if one missed it and still gives people that sense of liking the skin to show off they got it. As for gameplay updates not sure actually. I like Paladins and think it is a good game already, just sadly isn't popular as OW. And idk how you change that, I guess just making everything look more polished would help.

I know it's not actually announced but I swear that if they do the same thing they've done with SMITE 2, I'm really actually stopping Paladins and to support them. I'm sorry but... What they announced with skins and stuff with SMITE 2 is horrendous. Doing Paladins 2 could be great if executed properly, but do I have faith in them executing it properly ? I don't, I'm sorry ^^' The next update we're getting on Paladins is just another example of why I don't have faith in it and that honestly makes me sad. It isn't balanced well at all and the game has had the same issues for years, which they did not really do anything about yet. Would they actually do them if Paladins 2 was to be a real thing ? We actually don't know. A switch to a newer engine, so that they're forced to rewrite the netcode. I don't really care about the graphics, the stylized artstyle is good. Maybe bring back the some form of the M&M skin system we had in the Holt era, or just copy the Mythic skins from OW2, that works too. Absolutely throw more money at the map design team, it's baffling that for the 2024 update they're still recycling existing maps for other gamemodes. They should atleast give a look at the design document the original team made, even if it doesn't correlate to what paladins is today, i really liked the idea that supports were meant to have more utility, rather than just having a pure 1 click heal ability. After Tiberius's release they really dropped the ball on the new champions, some of them being too experimental, and some being too unfun to play against, they could easily just delete the characters with boring visual/gameplay designs like Vivian and Octavia, and rework the rest.

Personally I think paladins 2 is not orth it if like you said we can't transfer the content, especially champions, talents loadouts and the item store. skin an be remade or something. but we need to have most champions transfer over. the ionic unique ones that don't exist anywhere else: bk, evie, maeve, atlas, imani, androxus, maldamba, pip... they can throw away stuff like vivian i guess cz only 2 ppl will care. So if we re unable to transfer content then i would consider paladins 2 to be the final nail in the coffin fr paladins. other than that, here's what i d like to see: No more auto aim, no more bs champions, more devs, quicker and better balance changes, better skins, better cheat detection, more stable servers, better skins, less aim assist, hopefully a pro scene...? more and better advertisements. basically upgrade into unreal engine 5 or smthg, get better servers, make the game more polished, and advertise it more. I think that should bring in more players. No more spaghetti code, we need a clear code that all the devs understand and is easy to operate with.

The only sure thing i want from Paladins 2 is less spagetii code: easier bug fixes, maybe it helps the servers and performance gamers need to apriciate modern games. And maybe i hope it would be something that can spark forgiveness from the community. Who fell out of love with one bad patch. Rant: I hear we are getting more playstyles, and that is excellent for the game. But there will always be toxic and trolls in a power fantasy. The trials are great. i feel they get in the way during casuals because players are grinding, not competing. Ranked is hard to get into, but you could compete there instead. Love the swift siege mode, personally: getting items up to speed, testing builds quickly, less respawn downtime.

They have no money from paladins because paladins is potato for over 4 years. Why would they get money from dead game? Why would people like to pay and play? I stopped buying crystals and stuff because game is abused by cheaters, bugs and crashes. stuff like that. Of course I'm not gonna pay to support that kind of treatment from producers/devs whoever is really in charge there. Game is dead and its their fault aswell. So all of you please stop saying that bullshit like they get no money from paladins because if they would like to get money from it they only need to find a way to actually make players play this game, attract them, and in the very last place they should think of making money on it. If they cant they better sell this project to better company. Cuz they only ruined this game through this all years and thats it. If nothing came good from paladins its their fault. I hope they can get their shit together and make something good already. BTW if this guy in very first seconds who is asking what we would like to see in paladins 2 just tell him if he cant promise then he better stop asking stupid questions if he took some effort to move his lazy ass and read community comments and stuff he would find out without asking.

Umm smite and paladins are two very different games, item store is nothing alike and how you even compare just a small change to the store to be like smite is funny and absurd. Unless if I missed the news somewhere in which Smite stopped be MOBA somewhere and became a hero shooter. Would be like saying if I wanted to play League over OW I would like... they are somehow the same type of game.

"it's what Kreepers wants". The only thing I have said recently is that it does bring an interesting tone to the game. More decisions making the game less boring and repetitive. Smite has that but on a whole new scale. I would never want the exact same thing as smite has. The only thing I would love to see from smite, is a 3P more on the conquest map with our champions. Oldviktor has managed to import one of these maps and played there with dragon and it looked fucking amazing
