Thanks for all the kind words in the last video! Just a heads up again, been a pretty rough day, dog was put down after battling with cancer. (He had a good life!) I'm sad, but tbh my dad is a farmer and it had become a very close friend to him, I've spent the day mostly with the family. They should make it so your level number turns into a color like yellow or gold if you used gold to lvl up, so that other players know if you are a leggit 17, 18 or a 10 that used gold to look like a 30(Why? to know if your skill justifies your lvl from the begining and that way know if you'll have to be carried or not), OR, remove that feature completely :/, then again, Idk how impactful will this thing be, but just in case it turns out to be a bad thing...

Bazoo absolutely agree. Andro was my main first but then the recoil just ruined Andro for me. Hirez needs to understand not everyone has a high end PC and fast internet to play the game. The screen shakes so much I can hardly see anything with all the lag. Hope they revert Andro bck

After spending some time on the PTS, the only problem I have is that you can continue to buy mastery after mastery level 12, which kind of de-values any of the mastery rewards. In the dev stream, its meant to exist to allow competitive players get the talents they need without being required to put several hours into every champ each time.

Good points, agree on most of it, although I think they could have just made a 2nd way of getting the talents by simply buying them via same amount of gold it would take to lv up to them. Keeping the lv's still grind based so that most of the players that wasted so much time to max lv's don't feel like it was pretty much pointless. So far seems like the best patch yet. I guess it would after having shady marketing shoved down your throat for such a long time. Cheers for the video!

Personally I disagree with your opinion on skill being expressed based on your rank, because not everyone enjoys competitive or plays competitive in general, in which you can see what experience someone has with a champion based on their champion level. Just an opinion ✌️

Exactly my thoughts. I played some competitive, got to Diamond II, got bored and now I'm Gold IV because of the fact rank is lost over time, so my current rank doesn't really show my skill level. Also, there's a possibility of someone getting a high rank playing only a few champions, so there's no way of knowing if someone you're playing with is good with the champion they chose judging only by the rank.

But there's another problem: One can play a champion for a long time without getting better at it. Playing a lot with the same champion doesn't always make you better at it. Since you get experience even when losing, you could in theory be a level 50 without winning a single game.

TheDarkM But most of the time the champion level does apply to how well the player can preform on this specific Champion, even if the player has a level 7 champion, it will be enough to preform well on this champ. Also depends on how difficult the champ is.

Nah. It only has a gameplay effect up to champion level 12, which can easily be achieved in about 25 or so matches with that character.

i looked at some of my loadouts that i had screenshotted pre ob64, and pretty much what the cards that you would set to rank 4 have the same features as a rank 5 card in ob 67 and its much easier to balance your loadout right now. I feel like they made the card system simple to get into, but hard to master, unlike before, it was hard for a new player to decide which card he wants a higher value from, and now u can balance everything out, and tweak it out as you play Edit: But I hope they remove the leveling up with gold, and just allow a player to either buy the talents, or level up the character to unlock them. I like looking at people's level and my playstyle sometimes is affected by the level of my teammates and enemy team, and i try my best to play well every game. I don't think SMITE had a feature where you could buy worshippers for your gods

I used to pride myself on being a lvl 15 Maeve or a lvl 13 zhin and that was something you can somewhat boast about and could use as a skill gauger, I get where they're going with the whole buy your lvl thing, but I feel like with the whole buying of lvls it takes something out of the game that you held as an accomplishment.
