I started maining Kasumi as a meme when she was unplayable but 90% of my gameplay with her was after the rework. Being honest, Kasumi is a great flank (not close to vatu or evie) but still amazing IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. People tend to assume she's bad because a lot of People play her and throw super Hard. If you really know how to use her to her full potential its gg for their team unless they go Hard with shields. Idk how Master and GM matches are but for Diamond/Plat she feels amazing

IMO it's not really about how you play her, it's more of the enemy team reaction and decision making, every champion works if you "know what you're doing", the thing is most players almost never face Kasumi because of the no-brain picks like Koga, Talus, etc, so it's only natural they have a hard time countering her

Controller player here, koga claws on controller is so broken, it's like 3-4 hits to kill and the pierce let's you build up ult almost instantly, so I like to pair it up with the ult talent

Jenos damage isn't good either, even running binary star it's just decent. He's alright at stuffing 1v1 attempts early game but even then he gets shut down hard by resilience later on. Even that falls apart against more mobile comps since he has no good tools to reposition out of a bad situation.

Omen's issue is that he STILL has many of the bugs that he has had since before they disabled him... HE STILL HAS THE GRIP BUG FROM HIS RELEASE!!! I mean seriously anyone from HiRez - how are you going to disable a champ to "fix" him and only address a "new" bug that came up. Why do you refuse to address the bugs that he has had since HIS RELEASE A YEAR AGO?! Yall gotta get on actually fixing stuff or this game will absolutely die when Marvel Rivals comes out. I know if things don't change I'm done with Paladins once it releases already. HiRez - here's your warning to GET. IT. TOGETHER! A lot of people are playing Ying now because of how strong she is but she requires a lot of skill to actually use which gives her a lower win rate than some other champions and imo that shouldn’t take away from her ranking, and I would put Betty up into at least B, her damage and aoe is really good and she has great mobility with her last talent

I disagree Strix- Strix as of now is pretty much just a sniper he's good on sniper maps he's he should be on C of course on the lowest end of it Omen- Omen is still really strong he has his moments on maps that aren't wide open I'm not sure if he's worth bumping up to A tier but I think it's fair to remember that Willo is next to unheard of on frozen guard Ash- Ash again has some rough counters to her mobility but that's what makes the champion strong, she's not about the burst combos that Azaan and koa will want but instead consistent output of damage, she's still incredibly hard to kill and she's still a brutal space maker Nessa - Should be higher Nessa is near impossible to properly engage with without serious dive power from a tank or a near unreactable dive (vatu) since most flanks are now just dealing with a more lethal Octavia/Sha and with her scope changes she's actually able to deal with medium range on maps that she was previously inoperable on that and the slows might not be insane but they add something.

As a Kasumi main, I can see why she's in D tier. Her range sucks, her kit isn't fit for a flank, etc. She fits the Damage role better. The reason she's my main is cuz if u got good tracking and know how to sneak around enemies; she can be very viable, especially against snipers and long-rangers. She counters those who can go invisible because they're still highlighted with Kasumi's basic attack, and when there's a tank you don't have to worry about dying and can melt through everyone's hp (1200 dps is crazy imo for no reload and auto hit). Still, she's squishy and her movement ability sucks along with the cards... if she got her movement, mine, and cards tweaked a lil bit i think she'd be solid. Also, as a dps Vivian main, I do think she's boring.... until u max out ult boost card. This is because there's a set of cards which give her practically infinite ammo. She can defend herself and counter most flanks because of her scanners, plus if you're good at fps games then her headshot dps is very solid.

Can you explain those win rates? Like, in League, they strive for all champs to have around a 50% win rate. But in the data you showed, it was showing over 60%+ win rates- so my question really is, why is Hi-rez (maybe you know, maybe you don't) not want 50% as the average? Like if a champ in LoL is at like 52% winrate, they hard, hard hot-fix them to bring them down usually.

I think that the disproportionate win rates (almost every champion winning more times than not) at high elo is due to the disappointing fact that the player count is excruciatingly small. Matchmaking often puts diamond+ players into matches with platinum & even gold players, and D+ players are more likely to win against them on average. This doesn't change much in terms of what's meta and what's not - Moji and Vatu and Nyx are undoubtedly meta for example - but it does mean that every champion will have a marginally inflated win rate when looking at D+ data. I still prefer to use this data because even though it's not the most accurate depiction of the champions' true win rates, it's still data that comes from the highest echelon of players who are playing the champions well. This matters because certain champions' strength heavily depends on the player's skill, like Vatu. Vatu's win rate is ABYSMAL in mid-low elo because most players at those ranks can't play him well, but that doesn't make him a bad character. Quite the opposite - he's OP! There's a lot that goes into the interpretation of the data and that's why it can't be the sole arbiter of where a champion goes on the tier list. Rather, the data is a supplement to help support my assertions about the meta.

22:27 that's literally me, that match was literally hell, not very demure. (I was the moji, no one killed kinessa, aka Andrew). My team was literally the worst people I've played with since downloading the game, the strix and the kinessa were literally below level 10 and willow somewhere around 20ish (that also dc'd). Kinessa two tapping everyone, plus the damn mines with the unnecessary slow have been the vain of me since the update. Just needed to rant :v

59% is still an excellent win rate, and he's ban/pick priority as evidenced by the ban/pick rate. Tanks in general are just really good. Win rate isn't the only factor I consider when placing champions on the list and any champ with a 59% win rate is doing very well for themselves.

I personally think ying is terrible, especially because her movement ability has a long cooldown and her clones suck for healing flanks (in my experience) healing tanks is pretty good because they can clense caut consistently, since the clones are kinda random healing flanks out of caut is difficult for both for the ying and for the flank to play well together

I highly disagree with jenos, I run cripple jenos all the time and it works out probably 70-80% of the time, mostly dependent on if the dps/flank can kill my grip target in time. It demolishes characters like talus or vatu or VII, and he can still output semi-decent healing. Also, Skye in S-tier but not Cassie? that's just hilarious in my opinion, there is no world in my mind that Skye is an S-tier character, despite how much I play her. Characters like Cassie or Tyra or Talus simply curb-stomp her.

Ying and lian are being underestimated. Torv is Undoubtedly high A definitely not C and series got buffed so she should go high C atleast what I said before Maeve is B tier while andro is A tier when their win rates are matching im starting to believe your ranking this based on how you like the champion please don’t ever make a tier list again this tier list is extremely inaccurate. XD The most annoying people I face are Willow, Kahn, Fernando, Seris, Cassie, Bomb King, Viktor, Tyra, Monkey kid, Androxis, Fire Sword Guy, Vampire and Evie. And my best characters are Strix, Tiberius, Grohk, Sha Lin, Mal Dumba, Fernando, Vatu and Pip. Let's see if any of them make the top tier list. =0 You don't like Strix? And you didn't even talk about him? You just called him bad then left. lol. Is this why everyone yells at me for picking him in ranked? XD. Personally I do better with him than the other snipers. I do have to play more aggressive and constantly reposition to make him work but when you get multiple head shots in a row, man it feels good. The way I play him is I give him movement speed so I can keep going in and out of invis to get a boost. This really helps when people come at me and helps to just get around the map to reposition. I am bad with Kinessa. Not that I can't play her but every time I face one, I get sniped with 2 shots. But when I player her I always have to shoot 3 times and I don't know what I am doing wrong. But I do like her heal per shot which helps sustain and if you shoot someone you get the bullets back so I am always in sniper mode. And yet that guaranteed 1200 or 1800 dmg from strix has just been more consistent killings for me. Seris, Rabbit, Snake and vampire are the most annoying healers I face so I don't know why you put seris at D and Rabbit at C. I would say Grohk is my top healer with his 3 totems. I can put them far away. I don't need to channel anything. The only downside is people walking out of the healing bubbles. Like a lot. lol Moji was my main when she was a flank but now I just can't play her. I guess others are doing better with her but I can't figure her out. But I am curious to keep trying if everyone else feels so strongly about her. Hey we agree on some and disagree on others. Fun
