A very famous fashion designer was once asked if he made clothes that women wanted . He said No! I design clothes that women will want. Same with PLTR , a product that few understand or feel they need , but one that they must have to prosper and survive in the future.

Good collection. The first clip alone is one of Alex Karp's best elevator pitch explanations on Palantir that I've heard. Even if he's only talking about the government sector there you can see how it can also apply to commercial.

Alex said “There are customers showing potential customers our products” that is what I figured must be happening at their boot camps. It is brilliant gorilla market regardless if it was by design or happenstance. Nothing sells like the word of mouth from the happy customer and of course products living up to expectations. I believe the AIP boot camps will help increase sales of Apollo and Foundry too to new customers by word of mouth of current customers using those products. It would take sales teams months or years to cultivate those sales. Thanks for the info.

I’ve heard karp refer to palantir as propierty technology, I’ve also heard him say “ we own the IP and are stacking things on top of it and selling it”. Palantir has been acquiring patents for years and years. My question for you palantir vision is, is it legal for other larger companies to copy palantir in the aspect of utilizing LLM’s to harness data for there enterprise? Would this be defined as a MOAT?

They def have propriety models even without the data access
@goldwingerppg59538 ай бұрын
They don’t own the data, Palantir products organize the meta data enabling customers to make actionable decisions that they haven’t be able to before. Think of their products like the manufacturer of oil refineries equipment, they refine the oil into useful products but don’t own the refined products. Unlike social media companies, banks, search engines and on and on.

There are quite a few videos out there made by customers, explaining how Palantir software has changed how they work. Frankly, without having seen those videos, I would suspect that a lot of what Karp says is BS.
