Things I've noticed watching: - The postbox says '747', a number they refer to often. Emerson has said it is a divine number, reminding me of angel numbers. 747 is regarded as an important angel number, usually a sign of unconditional love towards all people. I'm not sure if there is a connection, it's just something that occurred to me. - The headline of the newspaper shows clearly for a split second at 0:34. It shows the newspaper is the London Daily Post, the headline saying something that ends with 'by the east end ripper', a clear reference to Jack the Ripper. The newspaper is faded in a number of places, giving me the idea it is either old, or has been read multiple times. EDIT: I researched the headline and newspaper name and found the front page of the London Daily Post, dated 30th September 1888, a completely identical match to the newspaper to the video. The full title is 'TWO MORE VICTIMS CLAIMED BY THE EAST END RIPPER' - Glimpses of clocks are show multiple times, leading to be believing they are important, but I'm not able to see what time they say. - At the very start, Remington is shown walking up to the house from a distance whereas everyone else is comfortably inside, seemingly surprised to see him; making me think that this means he has been away for some time. I'm not as educated on the timeline of the other videos so I'd appreciate if someone could figure it out. I also have an unrelated theory: Perhaps the rats symbolise people, the rest of society. The rats are frightening, dangerous and almost 'toxic' in a way. As well as this, the rats surrounded and 'suffocated' them, and they used gas masks to protect themselves. As Emerson has said before "People are Vicious". The lightning could also represent them repelling society, literally sending the rats away through their music. Just a thought. I've never broke down a video before but I wanted to try, I'm sorry if I don't make sense in any part! :)

Great Theories! Clocks have been a part of many Palaye Music Videos 🤔 I think it takes place after the Nervous Breakdown video and maybe also after You'll be fine... Because Remington dyed his hair black in Nervous Breakdown. He was blonde before 🤔 Daniel is also in the video and he helped them in Nervous Breakdown to get away from Lieseil 🤔 I'm sure the rats stand for the toxic society. I'm not sure what the key symbol means, the Tattoo from Emerson. Little Bastards is the opening track from our third album, The Bastards. Musically we show the direction of the album all in a single track. The vulnerability, the truth and the aggression all wrapped together in a three and a half minute track which will set the listener up for what is too come for the next 14 tracks and what corners we will touch. Lyrically it trails from our latest release “Lonely” but displaying the frustration and anger towards individuals that are meant to be friends. Visually we wanted to display our current state which is complete isolation from the world; trapped inside a house but yet the toxic society has found its way inside. We have to “band” together to keep our circle of trust and honesty tight. Fun fact: The story board for the visuals come directly from our graphic novel!

I'm kinda mad I haven't known about them for longer. The first song I heard by them was Massacre right when it came out, because my friend told me to listen to it and I was like "holy frick this is great" then I listened to everything else they've put out and fell in love. You guys are so amazing and talented. The lyrics and instruments are so great and I really love the whole aesthetic of the band and special relationship with the fans. ~~~~~THEORIES~~~~~ In this, the concept seems to be that the rats represent toxicity entering their home and their safe place. Remington begins outside the house and as soon as he enters Sebastian offers him the cup. This could mean the cup represents something that rids the toxicity of the outside world maybe creativity or realization of the truth. When Emerson puts his cup down that seems to be when everything falls apart, Remington noticed the Lieseil tattoo on his wrist (which may have appeared as a result of him putting the cup down) and all the rats start to appear all over the house. On the cover of Boom Boom Room (Side B) they hold an underwater tea party this could be a crossover of Dying in a Hot Tub and the idea of drowning in toxicity but also this idea of the cup representing their antidote to the toxic society whatever that may be. After the rats have all invaded their safe place Emerson is the one to grab the gas masks to protect everyone from this 'toxicity'. In the graphic novel that is coming up the world of Obsidian started as a place Emerson created that "encouraged free thinkers and artists to exist and, as everything does in life, eventually it becomes this political power and evil toxicity that comes with everything" but to protect yourself you must wear a gas mask. Maybe the house is a microcosm of Emerson's fictional island, it was invaded by toxicity and so he tried to save everyone with the gas masks. If we were to put this into reality instead of the fictionalization of it all MAYBE Emerson at one point almost decided to give up on everything (as he is the one to put down the cup that ruins it all) but then he realized it would affect his brothers and friends and so tries to save them from everything as he feels guilty. I haven’t been able to predict how any of the new tracks will sound, they’re all so new and inventive and it’s the musical freedom the band exhibits is what makes them one of the best bands in modern music. Also their commitment and appreciation of the fans, while lovely, has caused the boys to become three of my favourite people in my life, even though I’ve never met them

also ahem this is stupid but speaking my mind theory time: the rats could be traps/spies for lieseil inc., and then when the rats infect them, the band gets brought to a party (hang on to yourself), and then the drinks they drink make them pass out, therefore starting to make the band criticize lieseil inc., which they start portraying as america (massacre the new american dream). then sebastian, emerson, and remington get put into a house. apparently the drinks had some sort of drug that was supposed to make them go insane, but it's only working on remington. at the end of the fwmh video, they get kidnapped and sent to a (possibly) asylum, causing now all of them to go insane, and someone has to break them out. (thats all i have for now)

i discovered palaye royale yesterday after watching Lonely as an add before a video, and i always skip adds but they really captured my attention, i wish i would have heard of them sooner but i'm soooo glad i got this add, i've been watching some of their interviews and i find them all very interesting, they all have different styles and i love that, they're kind of mysterious in a way haha i love them, i would love to see them live!!

I love that i already know im gonna like the song. Palaye is genuinely the only band i know of where there isnt a single song i don't like, even if i just go off everyone's first 3 albums I love this band a hell of a lot Palaye are the first band that i pre-ordered an album off too :). Usually i just wait to buy it in person, mainly because shipping (and customs) from America makes buying the album online at least £5 more expensive than in person, but then Palaye made this no longer an issue!!!
