The nice thing about Palaye Royale is that every record is different, their "sound" is always progressing. Like with Black Veil Brides, even though I love Andy as a person and his solo songs, BVB's sounds are always the same and I want to shit myself when I see a music video on the TV, I would rather mute it and just stare into those baby blues

their recent songs are still good but not as good as the generation of their album with "in the end", i agree its like always the same. it feels like they stopped experimenting. still good songs tho.
@burninsherman10372 жыл бұрын
BVB are one of those bands where I don't mind them sticking to the same sound. They just do it so well. Plus, I go from bi to big fucking gay every time I see Andy, so that helps negate any criticism.

Seeing them live is very different to their more polished recordings. Generally their newer songs have been softer - could be they're trying out new stuff, or maybe its to spare remingtons vocal cords live (so they have more songs where he can sing, cause his "screaming" technique is quite unhealthy alothough it sounds amazing) I feel like thats what happened with bmth too a few years back.
@burninsherman10372 жыл бұрын
Oli straight up ruptured his throat if I'm recalling correctly. Luckily, it didn't fuck his voice permanently, and he's since learned to scream in a much safe way.

Awesome guys - I totally get what you’re saying but yes they do go off live, dying to see them. Rem (lead singer) regularly scales anything he can performing upside down from scaffolding often 😆. So far I’m not loving these songs as much as the bastards album but still loving it & waiting to see. Given your attitude to US & guns I SERIOUSLY would love to see your reaction to Massacre - the New American Dream by them. I think you will like it musically & topic wise. SERIOUSLY 😜 Bad flower connection - they are touring with & opening for Palaye currently. Keep rambling & Johnny- 🥛👌🏻😂

They do have some heavier songs like Nightmares & Hang Onto Yourself off the Bastards album. One reason I love Palaye Royale so much is that they're hard to pigeon hole.
@kelzmad3 жыл бұрын
If you guys like Rems voice but looking for something a little more full on, check the ‘the relentless’. They’re a fictional rock band from the movie American Satan and tv show paradise city where some of the actors are actual musicians like the frontman is Andy Biersack, the drummer is James Cassells and the guitarist is Ben Bruce but because of legal reasons Andy wasn’t allowed to sing and instead Remington played his singing voice. You guys also appeared to be a big fan of Lzzy Hales voice and she actually did a duet song with Remington for the show called ‘Cruel Games’.

Hey, you guys. There is a tad bit of stuff going on in their music videos. In the comments of the videos, there is usually a comment from the artists explaining what they were aiming for in both the video and song. Hope this helps if you're wanting to understand why they do the things they do.

@Loreta it’s not that deep lmao. If that’s what you’re getting out of it you’re the homophobe for getting some stereotype in your head.
@Shelmer753 жыл бұрын
@Loreta nah that ain’t it. Image/visuals have a significant impact on memory and expectations. The image presented by the band creates an expectation that the accompanying music will be heavy…but it isn’t. OP is just saying that they think Nath & Johnny would’ve enjoyed the song more if they hadn’t had that expectation.
