Idk if it's because I've mostly seen u with blonde hair or what but, to me, u're a spring/summer. U seem to suit light, bright colors like the blue u're wearing today and light pinks and greens. That being said, I think u're the best at making all colors work beautifully. And thank u for being a safe place. You rock the fusion 90's/2000 look. I think of the nineties of Drew Barrymore with a dark, vampy brown lip and matt foundation. The 2000's were tiny butterfly clips, frosty lips, and pastel eyeshadow with shimmers. I remember wearing white eyeliner with light green eyeshadow. Those days should stay in the past......

ill be honest, i havent watched a video of yours in a while because ive been so busy and just lost a little bit of love with makeup due to that but this is one of the first ones in such a long time and its so refreshing. I love your pale skin videos more than any because i love to see recommendations for what i can use because were literally the same skin colour and i think youre beautiful and you always go for the exact same makeup style i like with the non shimmery highlighters and the skin where you can still see underneath and stuff. It was a surprise to come on and hear a voice over because i remember that was one of the main things i used to love watching on your channel back in the day too. You are such a breath of fresh air and so underrated and work SO hard with multiple videos for such a small community considering how much you deserve so much more. As for your call for exciting news: I'm 31 and have been feeling incredibly stuck lately, so I made the decision and took the leap I've been contemplating for close to a decade now, and have decided to move to the UK for a working holiday visa. Thank you for the message, Shan. Can't believe I've been watching you since back in the day, over 10 years!. My mom has been back in the hospital for about two months (she is immunocompromised, so she gets sick SUPER easily.) The doctors are running all the tests, and she has a huge support system. It's just so tough when things are out of your control. My dad goes every single day to see her and sit by her side (me and my sis work full time, but when we are off we spend time with her.) Work is my distraction right now, and it's the only thing that has been making me get out of the house. I know she will be okay, but it's gonna be a long road, a long time before she comes home. I'm almost 28 and still living with my parents. For a while I was embarrassed, but now I'm happy to be here, especially to comfort my dad when he comes home at the end of the day.

In the 90's i always wore the cover girl champagne single shadow with a blue eyeliner on my upper lash line with a white eyeliner above that. Black in my water line. Heaps of mascara. Minimal foundation. No other base products. Then I'd line my lips with a black eyeliner and put goldish bronze cream shadows in the center of my lips 😂😅. I'm 40 so i was actually growing up in the 90's.

90s make up was more cool toned, smokey silver eyeshadow.... I was in my teens in the later 90s and that's what I remember. Also nude lips, gloss or satin finish, thin eyebrows but I never did anything with my eyebrow, bronzer but no blush 😊

As a very, very, very pale skin person I love seeing videos like this with no tan, it inspires me so much! Thank you for the great advice to take a moment to do something for me. I'm having more health issues, I've been chronically ill since I was a few months old but recently got diagnosed with PCOS and struggling with the medication making me sick to my stomach and the facial/body hair PCOS causes. I have seen a bit of improvement with the hair (went from needing to shave twice a day to once every other day) and my hormone levels are back in normal ranges so while still not feeling great, at least the meds are working. 90's makeup for me was grunge and punk, I also loved Drew Barrymore's looks from that time, she was so inspiring to me. You looked stunning as always!

I'm also obsessed with colour analysis! I haven't actually had mine done yet, but I strongly suspect that I'm a Summer (not sure what subgroup, though). I'm not an expert, but if I had to guess, I would say you're probably a light Spring rather than the warm Spring. The blonde hair suits you so much better than your natural colour (in my opinion), and I don't think warmth is your dominant characteristic, given that the cool blue you're wearing isn't bad on you, but I still think you lean slightly warm based on what lip, blush, and highlight colours suit you best (which tend to be warm tones). If you're bright Spring, your sister season would be bright Winter, but I think those colours would overpower you a bit, and light Summer would suit you much better. Like I said, I'm not an expert so I'm just guessing and going off of what I think suits you best, so I'm sure some people will disagree, but I would say you're a light Spring, with your sister season (second best palette) being light Summer.

Shannon I did your colour analysis on my phone lol. Keep in mind I’m not a professional and I would highly recommend going to one lol. Having colour analysis done is something that will instantly make you feel better (I believe colour is all about resonance). I got Soft Autumn for you, which means your sister season is Soft Summer. Your main characteristic is your soft chroma not necessarily the undertone which is why you look good in the Soft Summer palette as well (which is a cool undertone palette). Again I’m not a professional, it’s just something I like to do for fun sometimes. I’m pretty sure I typed myself and my mother and father correctly lol.

Loving that pop of blue. I know what you mean about the paler skin, I'm like that when I colour my hair. It looks so different when I'm tanned vs pale. I can pull off both warm neutrals and bright/deep colours but not pastels. They wash me out. I had to laugh about the lip colour. My PT loves the colour of your Lace liquid lip that I wear to the gym, so I ordered an extra one for his wife on my recent order lol. Great customer service by the way.
