Did the protests about the war in veitnam do anything or the ones for Iraq in the UK? As much as we are a democracy, after an election we have very little power. The point of the demonstrations is to show that the people don't support the government in what they are doing and to voice opinion on others. It has historical significance.

Of course not, and they never will. Screaming at a brick wall half way across the world obviously is never gonna do anything. And people say what they want about Labour and Starmer, but Starmer is likely to be the new PM in a couple of months, so he'll have the power to oust MPs and ban the marches. The pro-ha-mas mobs camped outside his house scared his religious Jewish wife and his Jewish kids, he does Shabbat with his wife and kids which means every Friday he says blessings for Israel and the restoration of Jerusalem for the Jews, he might ban these marches across the country in a few months, fingers crossed.

Anyone that gets so enraged they have to resort to intimidation and violence, not only do not in good faith believe in their cause but I think they are deeply ashamed of it hence the frustration! Moreover why is it these people only believe in their freedom?
