Blessed Herman the Cripple created this. He was born with spina bifida, cleft palate, and cerebral palsy. He excelled in his monastery led education and fulfilled God’s plan for his life. May our world be more pro life, recognizing that all are beautifully created.

Hey I don't know your situation but you are precious in God's eyes and you are loved even though you could be deformed physically or in whatever way , according to the standards of the world, perhaps not but that's secondary. If a mother could find her child born crippled to be beautiful, how much more can God do the same? You are loved. My prayers.@@samanthathompson9812

Très belle hymne mariale du temps liturgique de l'Avent! Superbement mise en musique par Palestrina. Bonne interprétation des Tallis Scholars.

The composer was Blessed Hermann of Reichenau born in 1054, who the democrats and left would say should have been aborted. He was born w/cleft palate, cerebral palsy & spina bifida, he was placed in a Benedictine monastery at 7. A genius in astronomy, theology, poetry, math, music, Arabic, Greek, and Latin, he composed the Salve Regina and Alma Redemptoris Mater.

You mean he composed the TEXT of the two prayers?

@@NkechiR He wrote the gregorian chant (as well as the text). This four-part version is obviously not his work but Palestrina's.

Thank you for the 16 seconds promotion clip on a film about people rioting in the street before I could listen to magnificent Palestrina ´ s music. My pleasure was ruined.
