Helen Mirren's always had her character eating bags of crisps in the squad room when she played DCI Jane Tennison on Prime Suspect. I LOVE this parallel because Kyra (and the writers, of course) created a character as equally powerful, flawed, sexy in a non-stereotypical sense, headstrong, and always on top of her game, as DCI Jane Tennison from Prime Suspect (although Tennison was obviously more flawed in her personal life). Just brilliant!
