Love the show except one thing. Brett has no reason to be in this series....people do not connect with someone who killed their mother. not realistic or wanted or normal IMO

I don't know how common it is but I was just watching the show "I'm a killer" and one of the killers profiled became friends with the parents of the person she killed, to the point the parents are advocating for her release

I can assure you that is absolutely false. Where I come from, there is a program which pairs victims and relatives of victims with the perpetrators of terrorist crimes such as bombings - and meaningful relationships have evolved from those. Obviously, it is a TV show. So it dramatised. But to claim that there is never any 'connection' is completely untrue and simply based on what you *think* and not on any actual evidence or experience.
