This week we talk about the contributions of BASA, a company in Peru that not only made their own versions of the Mego World's Greatest Superheroes but also made this 8 inch Steve Austin figure, a completely unique item to their country.

The discovery was actually a bittersweet day for me- sweet because it was such a cool amazing find that emphasized that there remains the potential to make more Mego discoveries. Bitter because I knew there was no way one of these would ever be in my collection.

Weird that they'd put the picture on the shirt when the head sculp likeness is so spot on. Cool that kids in Peru had a figure the right size, so Steve Austin could team up with Superman and Batman.

This is an awesome piece! Sorry, but the figure reminds me of my friend, back in the 1970's, that used to have one of those 6 million dollar man iron-on imaged sweatshirts, making him look like a mega fan of the show.

Another great review!👍 I love stuff like this because like you said in another video it gives collectors some excitement in continuing looking for cool toys!😁 Do you know anything about Gobots? I recently just purchased a Leader 1 with gray legs instead of black and he has no manufacturing marks anywhere. The Ebay seller I bought it from states it may be a knock-off but he could not find any information on it. I am also having a hard time finding another example KO or error. Thanks in advance.👍 Bill
