I have the pink fashion doll case (contains my few Barbies, handmade 70s doll clothes, Sabrina (Charlie's Angels) and the Bionic Woman. The 2XL robot is staring into my soul. Super great video awesome stores and finds

I don’t know whether it is the toys having their own life or just the nostalgic attraction from the buyer, but don’t toys look sad when they are waiting to be bought.🤭 When you buy one and take it home it suddenly becomes more alive. (That is the way it feels sometimes). Great video as always.🤝

The Matchbox MAC, Mobile Action Command vehicle, NICE pick up. I am a big Matchbox fan. Die-Cast is my number one hobby when I do get out and buy some things, Hot Wheels as well, but Matchbox has a special place for me. They were so unique, had a type of suspension, and great details. Your MAC, well worth it! Great video and really cool Mego figures as well. Retro toys, cars, games. Gosh I miss the 70's...lol. Take care!

So many cool things in those photos. And the things that caught my eye that weren't the focus. That Babar doll who showed up in a few pics. I have a fondness for him and a story book my Grandmother got me for Christmas one year. I really enjoyed seeing this video as I haven't been able to do much of this lately. I made it to one local toyshop last week and fed my addiction to Imaginext figures. They are like the modern version of Adventure people and my collection of them just keeps on growing.

Oops, the Babar book was actually from an Uncle and Aunt in 1976. My Mom wrote in the cover. The family all got together at the grandparents so I thought it had come from Mamaw.

Nice slideshow, brian, and great score video. Hliarious that you picked up a Love Boat figure - I have become a little obsessed with the MASH, Love Boat and Dukes of Hazzard 3&3/4 toys lately. Very rare down here in Australia, but I did encounter a few (out of my price range) LBs last weekend at a fantastic vintage toy shop in Melbourne. Nice scores!

Another cool video!!! (nice music btw) I remember having that vinyl ''Star World'' action figure case as a kid. I remember being fascinated with the illustration on the front depicting the non copyright violating alternate universe Vader, Ape guy, and droids wondering if those were real toys that somebody made. They'd be cool custom figures to make just for fun.

Great video sir! I have found just one "retro" toy store. Up where I live we don't have or get flea markets, unfortunately. There is one place but it's about 200 miles south, and being newly disabled it's tough for me to travel that far. But it is a very fun experience to be able to shop at one of these stores especially if you are a collector of retro toys and games. I was a 70's kid. I can remember so many games, Operation, Mouse Trap, Trouble, Headache? I can't remember if that's the name? Also Parchessi, Sorry, and an old card game, Old Maid. There was Lite Brite, everything looks better with Lite Brite. My toys, well I started with Mego action figures and Die-Cast cars. DC, Marvel, Star Trek, and Planet of the Apes figures were in my toy box. Hot Wheels, Matchbox, and Corgi were my main die-cast cars. Except for a little later I advanced to AFX/TYCO slot car racing. Also the Evel Knievel Stunt🏍Cycle🏍, and SSP's or SST's? Then in 1978 Star Wars hit. I was NUTS for those figures. I can remember my first 2 figures. C3-PO & R2-D2, and then a bit later Luke and Ben "Obi-Wan" Kenobi, and finally I got Han Solo and Chewbacca, and I think Princess Leia too. Later though I can remember searching and searching and searching, and SEARCHING for the little scavengers, Jawas. Nobody had them. Months went by and I'm not sure how my Mom or Dad found out before me. I called the toy stores everyday. On the way home from dinner, we had eaten out that night, we stopped at a place called Toy Country USA and as soon as I walked in I heard the owned and my heart sank. He said check the top middle section I saved you a cool figure, 2 of them......and there sat FOUR or my Holy Grail figures, (for a 10 year old)and I got my Jawa's. I can remember that feeling, that "rush"? Eh I wouldn't say rush, but definitely a awesome feeling! When you find something you've wanted for a long long time, and there it sits! EPIC! As for my collection or what I'm collecting now? I still, well I still WAS a huge Star Wars figures collector until this last year. Same goes for the Marvel Legends as well, and Die-Cast cars too. Low distribution has caused or made it for many of us to shop "daily" and when I try, the shelves are usually 99% empty. So eBay or the Scalper-Mart as I call it, is the one stop shop, except everything is insanely priced. So I opted out of the Newer die cast cars, and the newer figures. They are charging almost $100.00 for a $20.00 figure. Nope. I decided that if the scalpers were charging that price, if I had to spend $50.00+ I'd buy a Mafex, or SHFiguarts. Or get a older ToyBiz Marvel Legend. I refuse to spend $70.00-$100.00+ on something barely worth the $20.00-$35.00 they're charging now. The figures are better, look better, and are packed with more accessories. Heck if it keeps going I'll just go deeper into the well and grab some Mego Superheroes line.

the Star World case predated the Kenner darth Vader case by s couple of years. it has lovely art and the interior trays are a pretty light blue plastic. i kept Star Wars, Mork and Buck Rogers in there. gone by 80 or so. may have broken it..got the Vader case which was more durable

This was really a wonderful trip down memory lane. Thank you sir! 😊 I really loved searching for my🚓🚗🚘toys🚑🚕🚙and 🎮games🎮 !! 20+ minutes of fun and memories! One more comment, I saw a soccer ⚽️ player, ball, & net. I had a 🏈🏈Football🏉🏉 Field Goal kicker, he was called Super Jock I think? I also had a 🏀Basketball🏀player too, 🏀Ball🏀 & Hoop, and lastly a ⚾️🧢⚾️Baseball⚾️🧢⚾️Batter Bat and⚾️🧢Ball⚾️🧢. The object? For the FG Kicker you place the ball in front of his foot. Have the Goalpost a distance away, and you BOP the Jock's head, he kicks the ball and off it goes. Basketball 🏀 you put the basketball 🏀 on the players ✋hand🤚and again BOP the headand try to make the Basketball 🏀 into the basket. The Baseball one I can't remember how it worked. I know I got a broken one right off. I can't remember if there was a pitcher or a tee for the ball. You BOP the head he swings and 💥BOOM💥 there goes the ball. There was a Hockey one too. Hockey 🏒 was similar. Puck in front of the player BOP the head, 💥BOOM💥 slapshot towards the net. I believe there was a goalie on a stick type thing you moved from behind the net, but again I can't remember all the specifics. I do remember having my Super Jock 🏉Football🏈 kicker and I bopper his head to check it and BOP💥💥his little leg🦵flew across the living room. I tried to glue it back on. BOP 💥🦵💥💥🦵💨💨💨💨💨🥴🤣🤣🤣🤣 I won't even get into what happened with my Evel Knievel Stunt Cycle.😦😧😨😰😥😥😢😢😭😭😱😭😭😭😠😠😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 Let's just say vroom....🚘 😉 😏 SPLAT!💥🏍💥 🚑

A great variety of things and stores, nice photos. :) Funny I still see those Muppet hockey figures around too heh. That 2-XL looked tempting but I like the stuff you got. Do you have somebody local to fix your items, just curious? Not much choice but eBay for me given my location, didn't think I'd collect vintage Mego but got a Hutch in good shape(sans shoes) for a decent price. Cleared a cabinet shelf for my growing Mego and Mego-style figures. ;)

Re: the missing foot on the type one leg. Are you just going to replace the leg or are you going to rivet a replacement foot onto the original leg?

That was a lot of fun. Can you tell me, what was the blue spherical object seen at 7min 43sec? The photo is not clear enough to tell and I am fascinated to know what it was. Also, the choice of music on this video was PERFECT! You should use that music for your montage sequences in the 'Mint off Card' videos.

Fun video Brian. That was also my first MAC toy too. Bought it at Toy World store I believe. I loved how the hatch lifted to display a tech display sticker. A simple toy packed with imaginative potential.
