It’s unfortunate that fellow Indians are maligning India. I saw that debate. Unfortunately we can’t wake that person up who is just pretending to sleep. If I talk about the rates of migration, they have been on a surge, and it was overwhelming last year. It will take time, at least till 2050.

West is looked at because of their economic prosperity as India used to back in their golden age. Point is simple, be the No.1 economically, you will see the automatic shift. For e.g. look at IPL. I never get into elaborate debates because actions speak louder than words. People who want to diss India will do so anyway. I also think a political debate is of no value if it doesn't lead to something actionable. Tharoor won the debate on reparations, did Britain return the things they looted as a gesture of true friendship? They won't. And so, any debate there which leads to no change in action or attitude, is just a facade of sincere expression.
