I'm from Ontario, I entered a hen and rooster (Seabrights) in a show and got first prize with my rooster. I was a young teenager at the time, and after the show a fella about my age said the judges wanted to encourage you, your rooster was too big for a bantam. I looked at the other roosters in the show, and he was right! My bird was a giant bantam! I found that everyone encouraged me... even the soft hearted judges! 50 years later, I still am messing around with chickens

Chicken people are just like dog people😀 We can, and do, talk dogs all day. I’ve been to that venue for dog shows and had no idea they also hold chicken shows.
