excelente trabalho! bem detalhado os cortes e solda. ensaios realistas, sei exatamente as dificuldades de desmontar paletes. vou construir uma baseada em seus estudos de caso. Muito bom. Parabéns amigo.

Some good thinking there....made a mousetrap and then made a better one!!! I do have a non-related question. I would love to do little things like this. I am an older woman alone and at times need a little welding done. Is there a welding machine that you would (or anyone else reading this) recommend for a beginner to do welding jobs such as this? It would sure help around this ole farm place. Great job. Take care. Jesus bless.

Sandra, you can get a fairly cheap mig welder from harbor freight that is easy to use, good luck and thanks for watching.

Hi Kevin...I like your design and I read all the comments...Maybe figure a way to bolt it to a fence post and use a 1/2 inch piece of rebar plus take an inch off the bottom...It will save weight and it will help if you ever decide to sell it on shipping...Have a great day...

I worked at a pallet recycling wharehouse. We had special tables you set the pallet on and there were special pry bars that tore the boards off. It was way easier and FASTER
@Robinson-Homestead7 жыл бұрын
Thanks for sharing Chris like to see the tables cool.
@chrisw57427 жыл бұрын
The tables had a bar that came over the far side of the pallet to hold it down while you pry the boards off. It was fork tongs but they were different and worked on the boards differently.

What if you weld a washer to each side of the round fulcrum then it could not slide off of the 2x when you put pressure on it. great job looks easier to use.

i use a saws all on pallet nails then you don't have to worry about breaking them boards so much because most pallets use ring shank nails or staples.

Kevin, I have seen quite a few of your vids. and commented on some because of your excellent instruction and ideas. The biggest problem with this tool is that it can only be used on pallets that have the boards at least 2" apart. A lot of the good pallets don't have enough gap for your tool, by the looks of things

I just found this video when looking for some home/shop made pallet pry bars. The one you made seems to work perfectly. Thanks for sharing the concept. What's the device you use at 2.11 for tracing the outer lines? Did you buy it or make it?
