100% reclaimed wood coasters made from the finest of hardwood pallet wood! Each coaster holds a random pattern of spanish cedar, white oak, ask, red oak, pine, alder, elm, poplar, maple, and birch. The end grain orientation of the coasters shows off the amazing beauty of the grain in all the different species of wood. Created with a painstaking process with 5 separate laminations, these really have a special charm to them.
Coasters come as a set of 4 with with a holder to match. Finished with a waterproof and food-safe finish.

This was great! I called coasters earlier this week on Facebook, and you delivered an awesome set. I find myself hating pallet wood for the most part, but then I watch a Jackman video and love it again.

A lot of people would watch this video and think "that looks easy", but to me that represented a huge amount of work getting everything planed, then cut, then glued, then cut, then planed, then glued, then cut, then planed then glued...

So, do you teach lessons on the pallet break down thing? I tried the speed bump thing you did a while back... My wife didn't talk to me for a week. I used her van instead of my truck..... Nice video. Nice project!

when you are sorting the wood at the beginning, what are you organizing them by? Size, species, color?

The first sort is separating any pieces that have defects long there length that need to get cut off on the miter saw and defects on the width that need to be cut off on the table saw.
