Nice video! The stop-motion and playful camerawork kept me watching through a part I normally skip through (cut, glue, plane, repeat).

Really like the randomness of the pattern for the coasters and all the work that goes into making them. You really inspire me to get a wood shop up and going when I get back stateside in a few months!!

This was great! I called coasters earlier this week on Facebook, and you delivered an awesome set. I find myself hating pallet wood for the most part, but then I watch a Jackman video and love it again.

A lot of people would watch this video and think "that looks easy", but to me that represented a huge amount of work getting everything planed, then cut, then glued, then cut, then planed, then glued, then cut, then planed then glued...

I do a different batch of coasters every year so I'd say keep an eye out near the end of this year for the next limited batch in a different style.

I'm a very amateur woodworker, if I can even call myself that. I want to do something similar to this, the one issue I foresee is getting my laminated pallet slabs even and level without a surface planer machine. Can I do it by hand?

It's not impossible, but I will say that it's going to be super difficult to get them flat enough to laminate, I personally wouldn't recommend it just because I think you'd get discouraged (I know I would!)
