This is the 3rd year that they have had the GT50 and I can see some refinements from the already fantastic original .. I'm so glad that you finally got on board a Palm Beach.. but don't stop here. Please give us a tour of the Palm Beach 65 Flybridge or 70 also. PB is a Division of Grand Banks and you know the GB reputation for building boats is great. Thank you for the tour.

In my opinion, there is no style of yacht that is more romantic and understated luxurious than a fine downeast. Palm Beach are second only to Hinckley in the category. Magnificent vessels!

Averaging 1 NM per gal at 21 knots is excellent performance. You could bolt on a 1/2 tower and fighting chair to turn this picnic boat into a slick little fish boat. Beautiful finish in and out, nice!

Grand Banks/East Bay, bought out Palm Beach to get the designs. Grand Banks weren't really known for speed, actually churning lots of water. Now, with the V warp hill design from Palm Beach, they're fast! And EXTREMELY seaworthy. Great boats from what I've studied.

5:53 Grab rails along the roof for the side desks might be worth it. Even just a gutter like indent along the side of the roof, so you can still grab it, but it's out of view and doesn't reduce drag as much as a rail along the roof would.

If you look closely you will see there are grab rails there just not on top of the edges. The underside of the roof from the stern all the way forward have hand holds all the way along the underside of the roof. Hope that helps...

Late to watch this tour, but here's a comment about the Volvo IPS engines forward. Brooks Boatworks did a Brooks 34 with Volvo IPS back in 2011. We put the engine's midship under the helm area floor and ran shafts back to the pods near the stern. The balance of the boat was great. We had a bow thruster as well but really didn't need it with the joystick. We also built a brand named EastPort which had a 32' Downeast model. Great dayboat with overnight capability if you wanted.

I believe this cross over style of boat is a “Picnic Boat” which makes sense because that is exactly how you described the way you would use it. But it is beautiful

I really like this boat. If I had it, I'd definitely use it for fishing and for a fun Bahamas and for island hopping. But the down side is the short distance so what do we do. We have a much bigger boat to haul this one, like a support boat with a huge overhead crain that can lift it out of the water and secure it on the weather deck. An with the low 3 foot draft in the water you can take this boat in places others can't go. Great boat overall an the one shower is all you need with a 2-3 bedrooms, I said 3 because the salon could be set up at night for a 3rd bedroom. The double drivers seat with double passenger seats are a great idea along with both windows retractable going down into the wall/bulkhead. It's like the designer took pieces of many cool features from other boats an made this one here, which I do love. Great job you two, as always stay true to who you are. That's why you have so many followers an people who love watching your videos. Rico is getting more alive on this one and I like that. Maybe you both should think about doing a live once a week or once a month talk show type video an go over your own best ideas an design on boats. Something to think about, right. You all take care an maybe you should do a live video being out on your boat going somewhere. Take a two week vacation and video it all. That would be a real treat for us who don't live near open waters, like here in the middle of Missouri where we have alot of trees and mountains. Love you all and love everyone else who is reading this an to ones who don't read this, I love you all too. Laughing is a cure for many health problems so laugh as much as you can daily and watch your health increase. It's true, it changes your frequency an vibration for the good. An walk outside barefoot. That really helps us get better faster.

Electrical Panel: I noticed the door latches are on the top. That is great so the kids or grand kids can not reach the buttons to open it.
