DT Swiss? They actually sound like I9's or maybe Hope. There are several times early on where I can actually hear the engagement which sound like my Hope's (which I don't like). My Kings are much, much better but nothing is like an Onyx.

I would say this trail is a blue trail with short sections of black along the way. This is probably one trail I would hire a guide for if your new as it's a point to point ride. For a beginner I would think this trail would be an all day affair. Dont forget its 25ish miles point to point...

There's no reason a novice can't ride this trail. As long as you know your limits and don't over push it.

Not and I9... it's another brand that's modified. I do have I9's on another bike though and love them! Keep guessing... ;) don't wanna give it away too quick!
