thank you for sharing Paloma!! I think sometimes I get bogged down by the idea of big projects and forget to have fun. This video is a good reminder. one of my cats joined me when they spotted Clem ☺️

Oh man I love your use of a type writer, makes me want to get one for those moments you want to write without wifi or needing to print it. Also I adore how the zines turned out! Definitely inspirational.

OH I love this so much! I made a sketchbook zine for myself to take around with me and love it (I even made a video on it to share too)! Well done with yours!

I love seeing people get into zines for the first time 😄 I was a writing arts major in college from 2019-2023 and made a bunch of zines and a paper chapbook for classes. Now I'm making more to help process emotions and express myself. Zines are such an amazing way to connect and create, I hope you continue to do what you enjoy:) sending peace & love! 💖☃️❄️🌌 Also I totally felt the cursing when you cut the pages by accident I was like damn me too

Ah!! Thank you for the shout out! I’ve been a fan of your art for a while, so it was a little surreal to see my vid on yr channel. Made my day. 💗 Annnnd your zines turned out so cool! Using a chart to share the croc charms is brilliant 🌟 I laughed when you cut the spread in half… I have done that way too many times 🤦 Just getting lost in the cutting groove…

Thanks for being real, paper cutting is the worsttttt, lol. Honestly surprised this is your first time making them! I will definitely be on the lookout for them at your next market! 🍅

they look so great on the colored paper!! definitely tryna cop one of these. When you print the image out on colored paper, do you make the background transparent?

I would love to understand and learn the step between you starting to work on procreate to having it laid out and formatted to be ready for print!

Hey Paloma! I loved this idea 😁! I would consider doing this type of project in my free time 😊. But I'm curious though, I know that the zines are doing a mini booklet of whatever the artist thinks of? Is it like a mini-story about yourself or can it be about anything we like such as a favorite show or something that stood out when growing up? (because while watching your video, you used your Crocs and favorite trinkets as examples for the zines). I don't mean to overwhelm you with this 😅. I'm only asking because if I plan to do a zine project like this, I don't get confused doing it and follow the phrases on your videos to help me when creating it.

in this video i chose lighter subject matter for the sake of time! i have other ideas that require more writing so i wasn’t able to complete them for this vid, but you can genuinely make them about whatever you feel you need to put into the world! stuff you love stuff you hate, political or informational, all writing or all pictures. :)
