It's genuinely amazing to see how your art is evolving while still being very paloma at heart

Your process is so amazing and fluid! Not only is it fun watching you create art, it’s easy to see you’re having fun making it 😊

ive found that using clear sticky notes has made sketchbooking fun for me! ive gotten so used to using my ipad and working on different layers, and using those sticky notes has been a fun way to experiment with that !! for example, if i want to know how a color will look over another, but dont want to "mess up" what i already put down on the paper, i will color it over the sticky note to see how it will look :3 i also use them to save my graphite and charcoal drawings lol i used to put regular sticky paper but i didnt like covering them up lol

I think if you store markers and felt tip type pens tip up they dry up faster, just a heads up!

I am still learning (and struggle) to ‘draw cuter’. I’m not sure why. I struggle more with drawing simple vs detailed. I love cute animation characters like appa, puppy cat, Totoro or Pokémon characters (to name just a few. I could go on 😆) But with all things I’m sure if I study and practice (in a sketchbook 👍) more it will come. But I thought drawing cute and simple would be easier. 🤷🏻♀️ Thanks for sharing 😊

i struggled with the same!! when i first started i only knew realism and it took looks of practice to learn how to stylist

Loved seeing your process! I haven't sketched that much because coming up with ideas has been rough, but also like you mentioned it feels like cheating when using references?? But sometimes that's what you need to do to get a little push. What was that pencil you used in the brain dump section? It looks so smooth and nice to use!
